We showed great spirit in the second half and recovered after what was a really really bad first half.

Thought Matip and Mane in 2nd half were very good.

Must say KDB is some player though.

Actually I’d back us to win next weekend. Trent is a conundrum though - he’s our biggest asset and our biggest liability. You can’t defend like he did in the first half and expect to win the big games. Conti would have looked at that and I I’ll bet you that’s where Spurs will attack us.

Anyways, we’re still right in it .

Pool was so lucky to get a draw cos they were totally outplayed in all departments. Luckily Pool took their chances well n they scored from their only 2 chances they had..

Good draw with man city. Hopefully, results would be good vrs Benfica, man city n Man U next. Good to versatile players like Gomez, Milner, chamberlain, minamino, diaz. Hopefully, more academy players can shine too

Outplayed. We were lucky with the draw. The commentators said TAA was sleeping when he let Gabriel Jesus run past him to score. I think TAA was just trying to hold the offside line.

We have to outrun City in the FA Cup semis. Last night we hardly applied the press on City in the first half.

I think Klopp will field 2nd team for the CL 2nd leg match with Benfica..... and keeping the 1st team fresh for the match with Man City at Wembley.

I don't think so. Too much money at stake in the CL. Cannot be risking the prize money of the CL for the prize money of the FA Cup right? I think he will play his strongest team and then utilise the full 5 substitutions he has in the CL to rest players.

Ww have an advantage over Man City. Our 2nd leg match is expected to be easier than their 2nd leg match. I doubt they have enough good match fit players to rotate for our FA Cup semi-finals.

Pool couldn't apply the press on Citeh was due to the fact the Citeh players were very good in their ball control n quick passing of the ball. Pool players were all running like headless chix chasing the ball n it was a miracle Pool didn't let in more than 2 goals, of coz must give credit to Alisson also.
It'll be very difficult to beat Citeh in open play, go for a draw n hopefully win on penalties this Saturday..

This sat match is only 90 mins..... no extra time or penalties.

Only the 2nd leg SF will see penalties played out if the aggregate is draw.

My understanding from Klopp's interview is that he will field players with " fresher" legs against Benfica..... whatever that means is up to you to interprete.
