Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Apparently even the made up crowd was booing us last night, at Anfield no less! Wow really depressing man.
Bizarre, considering how well we played in the last two games. Did not even have a clear cut chance in this game. Only players with any sort of credit last night were Henderson, Phillips and Kelleher. Brighton defended very well, scored, and looked the more likely to score another, while we didn't have any real chances. So, yes, they deserved it. Love Klopp to bits but have to say, think we would have been better off playing Davis in the backline and pushing Henderson into midfield. And Jones should have started this game. This was not the game for Gini or Milner. No other option for me now, get Davies and Kabak in and then play Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago in midfield. What have we got to lose? |

Don't give up. Our recent results.. quite good for waking up. So many of our 2nd team are just living on past reputation. Time to clear out the rot that is Oxlade Chamberlain, Keita, Origi, Shaqiri, Matip. Think of the wages we can save and get younger guys who are willing to fight on the field. Ox was just jogging around. No rush to go back and defend, no rush to go attack. As long as i am jogging in the right direction, I hope no one notices I am just trying to pass time.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
The amount of points we have lost against the lower teams is crazy.
We should be leading the league with a minimum of 5 points margin.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Alisson, Mane, Fabinho are back for MC game. that should be good news.
Hopefully Henderson is back in midfield role. Liverpool need a win, badly!!! A win against MC would open up the title race again. Last edited by francined69; 06-02-2021 at 11:41 AM. |

Pool has no problem handling the big teams, the lower smaller teams are the ones Pool failed to beat n score. They may even beat Mcity tomorrow but come next week or following week they'll struggle again against the smaller teams.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Looked at the Table this morning and felt quite happy, it could have been worse.
Next run of matches all 6 pointers starting with City tonight followed by Leicester and Everton. Really tough run but I think the best way to approach this is to just take it one game at a time and let's see where this shall take us. Notice Pep suddenly getting prickly over some of Jurgen's recent comments over City's 'extra rest period' which might be a good thing. Novelty for Sterling to be playing in a boo-free Anfield. Maybe Sky could add boos to the fake crowd noise every time he touches the ball Looking forward to seeing what Kabak makes of him, assuming Ozan starts. Would have liked Jurgen to take the risk and just go for it playing Davies/Phillips/Kabak at CBs and pushing Fabinho back up to MF together with Henderson and Thiago. But from Jurgen's presser unlikely, so Henderson pushed back up to MF at the very least should be the way to go. Hope we don't gift City any red cards or pens. Any win will do!! |
