My theory is that it's all due to our society development and lifestyle which clashes with our biological or psychological instincts.

In developed society like Singapore where the local womenfolk are largely highly educated, independent and assertive, but biological instinct of most men is still to look for women they can help, women who depend on them and need them aka white knight syndrome. But these women who work in ktv, spa or whatever may actually be earning much more than their earnest suitors.

Exactly. I brought this experience up because back when she was still working and we were quite close, the thought of going further with her did cross my mind; eg get married and all those sort of shit. Glad that I managed to maintain a clear head back then. Now I just enjoy my free fuck with no commitment.
