My friends and I did not start the trip well. We landed on Thursday, whilst waiting for a friend to come in from Bangkok. We got our bearings together within half an hour. One of my friends was so eager to be here as it was the fasting month of Ramadan, not content with 3 beers on the Silkair flight he went looking for a family mart. Bad news for him, Buddhist Lent day was on...our friend coming from Bangkok gave us an earful for not anticipating.
We stayed in Novotel (Patong area), wasn't too impressed but we only need the rooms for sleep, so not a major concerned. We went for what was the highlight of the evening – a seafood dinner. Fresh and tasty, good spread for THB500 each. I must say, transportation was a little more expensive than I thought. THB200 for each nearby commute. Thankfully there was a shuttle service to Jungceylon shopping area.
So we walked around the famed Soi Bangla, it was pathetic. Farangs were drinking diet Coca-Colas. Plenty of police personnel to boot. It was encouraging to see the festival being respected and enforced, for my boy band...it was just bad luck. There were some bars that did serve alcohol, but concealed with plastic cups. There was literally no pole dancers swaggering the bartops. Well back to the transport, we wanted to go to Patong Town to try Katherine Escorts desperately (link) – but alas, the transport was a deal-breaker for my mates, although I volunteered to finance the one-way THB650 tuk-tuk, it fell on deaf ears. We ended watching the live boxing game. Boring, I’d rather bonk a ladyboy to be honest. Ended Day 1 on a low. Calculative bastard friends!
Day 2 was the 2nd day of Buddhist Lent. The day revolved around shopping for souvenirs. I couldn’t stand the waiting for them and so broke off from the quartet and changed some cash, rate was not as good as home but decent SGD 1 = THB25.00. Going to Katherine Escorts alone was out of the question, so I decided to brave it out and head to Cristine Massage parlour (supposedly the Poseidon equivalent). Was propositioned at THB3,300 but managed to bargain with this friendly guy at THB2,800 after some smothering of Thai words to him. Paid up and action starts (the room was nicer than my hotel!), curvy lady from Korat was very accommodating and professional. Good soapy massage, bathtub rub before proceeding to bedroom action. House rules blowjob service was with cap, was of course offered without but ceremoniously declined. It was a good and enjoyable bonk with the switching of few positions to finish. It was a nice way to end a tiring day, was offered round two but politely declined and just spent the time talking and me gathering intelligence nonetheless on my virgin sexpidition to Phuket.
Night activities were again frustrating as the night before, no vice allowed (maybe there was but we didn’t know). Streetwalking freelancers offering themselves for between THB1,500 – THB2,000 for a short-time stint. Again I was tempted but stopped by my pals as they detested ladyboys. In my defence, the prices were similar for girls or ladyboys! Another boring and wasted evening.
Finally on our lust night (I meant, last) – the day began with the lifting of the alcohol ban at 1100hrs. Again we split up and I hunted for street food. Tragedy almost struck in the evening as there was a friend we had avoided bringing along to the trip altogether, we bumped into the street and with some savoir faire from yours truly, managed to skirt difficult questions. All of us headed to this huge agogo joint called Tiger and drank away. Buying lady drinks and playing board games to keep ourselves entertained. Gutted that we only had this night to enjoy.
Kindly, our un-invited friend soon left us (which was a relief) and then the night got exciting. All my pals had either 1 or 2 female company, not to be outplayed, I bought a lady drink for this waitress. Not something I would bring back but everyone was having their own activity. Another girl inside the counter asked for a lady drink, I politely declined (as usual) and lit a cigarette...before I knew it, the lady I bought a drink for had an altercation that turned into a CATFIGHT with the other lady. She started pulling and yanking the lady’s hair and jewellery. I was standing dumbfounded, 4 girls had to restrain her. I did not know what triggered such a scene although my friends chose to shift the blame to me! 1 metre from a catfight, something to remember.
We trotted along Soi Bangla and watched a Tiger Show before hitting the bars again. We upped the ante a little and paid for more lady drinks and company. Can’t believe we bought 50 shots, and swapped lemons and salt on fingers and mouths to get cheap kisses with the 8 ladies hoarding us. I took 1 lady for the night and had to pay a small tax for my hotel room as it was not girl friendly, it was either THB1,000 or THB1,500 – can’t recall.
I got myself a not so sweet young thing, but very naughty and playful sex kitten (pussy). Chemistry was dynamic and sex was worth every penny. Wouldn’t bore you all with the lousy details...except I bravely mustered two-and-half shots!
Phuket just reminded me of Bali. In comparison with Bangkok, I think pricing was even for booty call.

Bad timing. All of Phuket was basically vice and alcohol free for the two days. Hope you have a better time on your next trip.
Was checking silkair tickets to hkt next week and I wonder y the fights are so expensive. Managed to get ticket coming up wed for a week for more than 800 sgd for two! So many restrictions so ended going up sq n coming back silkair code sharing. Wonder how they going to split payment.
Might stay at royal Phuket city if I can get my place done up.
Fri to sun in patong.
C u guys.

Haha...I totally understand what you mean about the duvet cover and bed sheets. Have you tried ironing bed sheets?? It's impossible!
If you spend a night at Royal Phuket City then definitely we can do an Intro night out.

Yes, most of them do (avoid those who do only st, usually not gfe). 1500,/max 2000 LT if you don't show you are a newbie and don't ask: "how much you want?"
Yes, alcohol will be banned on the day of the Queen's birthday in Thailand. For those coming during that period, you have been warned!! It's only one day though.
