Normal times don't worry so much. Now I wonder where the previous guy had been and if he has exposed himself to the virus or not. Worst is now the government will give a breakdown on each case. The problem is China announced their lockdown only on 23rd Jan. I feel no sensible country will announce a ban on China tourists before 23rd Jan out of fear of offending China. The cases in Malaysia, Korea, England that originate from Singapore came from a seminar that ended before 23rd Jan. So even if Singapore knows this virus is like SARS, no one dare to act before China acts.

Stay calm and wait it out. So far our government is doing much better than other governments. Every case is reported. We don't suspect they hide cases right? Heck, we even know which case is a FL and which case probably visited this FL. . If someone gets this virus in China, odds of dying is very high. If this same person gets it in Singapore, survival chances are much higher.

As according to the ex certis cisco officer from facebook knowing who is infected within his circle and reading his comments in between due to company confidentiality, it strongly suggest that that infected guy did not wear mask when he serve the quarantine orders to 2 Wuhan. DBS Evacuates Some Singapore Staff After Worker Gets Coronavirus

(Bloomberg) -- DBS Group Holdings has evacuated all 300 employees on level 43 of MBFC Tower 3 after a worker tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

The employees were evacuated as a precautionary measure and will work from home for the time being

DBS will provide the infected staff member and his family with support and guidance

Bank is conducting “detailed contact tracing” to ensure those who have been in close contact are informed

Going to a reputable MP don't necessarily means they will take all precautionary measures... What are your take on this?

My regular spa is very well booked. They have started taking the temperature of every customer. The popular MLs continue to service 6-8 clients a day. My take: no one is travelling at the moment and grounded in town!

I see, I'm new to the scene so I don't actually have any regular ones. I'm guessing the way to find out is to check with the MP what they do to prevent incidents?
