You need to bring the Legalised Affidavit of Single Status to the Singapore Consulate/ Embassy. Can get the Certificate on Eligibility to Marry within 1 or 2 days.
(8) Next being the Certificate on Eligibility to Marry and the Legalised Affidavit of Single Status to the marriega bureau of the province that you intend to marry in. It will be recognised.

yes, this was the detailed steps i had to take less the ROM certification. That is if you only wishes to extend the girl stay in SG without "marrying" her.

1) register your ROM online.
2) obtain divorce cert if any. if in other language other then English, need to do a official translation in sub-court.
3) Make sure one of you is staying at least 15days in singapore from the date of ROM.
4) about 1week before date of ROM a appointment will be set for both of you to go down to submit document. NRIC / Passport / Divorce cert etc etc.
5) Go down to ROM on your ROM date and finish the rest.

should be the same as applying VISA for anyone. the only part which is different is where you input the reason of visit. i mean you can put visiting friends/relatives which is true too.

i doubt anyone except people from ICA can answer your question. IMO, i don't think it will matter. just my 2cents.

my suggestion is stick with the job until you are about to move to malaysia. i doubt anyone in the position to do so will help as it will cost them as well as reduce their quota for foreign worker.

yes. changing of passport can be done if you know the right people. what i know, they need to burn their finger to get rid of the "old" fingerprint. not worth the risk. if she got caught for this in singapore, not only her but you might get in trouble too. if she got caught in china custom, she might be jailed. seriously not worth it.

if you are planning to be with her for long term, a few months apart is not going to hurt anyone. also, i assume you already know how to get some sort of VISA or Permit for her to stay in Malaysia right?
