Thanks for the info.
Flights to domestic Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport (JHG) 西双版纳嘎洒国际机场 really cost a bomb!
Take coach no problem as I'm a "humsup backpacker".

By joining tour groups or casino junket operators to go Mongla that means entering Myanmar via the unofficial route.
Not sure PRC operators will require us to show them ID or passport.
Best is they boh chup.

[QUOTE=TonyCheong2;16235662]Thanks for the info.
Flights to domestic Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport (JHG) 西双版纳嘎洒国际机场 really cost a bomb!

From Kunming, my friend took a flight from Kunming to xishuangbanna, airfare sg$140 all in, one way.

In xishuangbanna, he stayed in a pte condo at $14 a night with aircon n TV. The condo is opp this hotel.

On his first night, he booked 3 streetwalkers (milf in their 30s to 40s) for st at sg$16 each.

I ask him how's d nightlife situation in xishuangbanna, he told me d wls will only come out after midnight as police check before midnight.

On the second night, he paid a local rider to show him all d red light districts and this was what he WhatsApp me :-
"I paid a motorcylist at around 1am and he brought me around to look at chickens. He brought me to an area where there are young chickens about 20 over years old. 1 screw $20 to $40. There are more than 100 young chicks."

He hv not gone into mongla yet.

Sorry for d late reply. My friend did not succeed in entering mongla from daluo. In short, he was supposed to enter mongla illegally through daluo, using the services of those bikers. But halfway, he backout. This was his whatsapp to me :--

"Yesterday afternoon, I attempted to go mongla but gave up the idea 3km from mongla. The day before, I approached a tour agency lady boss, she told me $100 for a private car to Daluo. From there her business friend will bring me to mongla. Yesterday, I went to her tour agency, she told me I had to pay another $30 for travel documents. I paid her a total of $130. The driver was good and the car was nice. We reached daluo after 2 hours. I could see the chinese check-point just like in zhuhai. The driver stopped a few hundred metres before it. He told me a burmese motorbike rider will bring me illegally to mongla from here. He paid the motorbiker $30 and we rode into a small lane. The car driver did not follow us. After more than 1km, the motorbiker stopped at a kampong house. He told me we have to hide there bcos the chinese border patrol is nearly. We hid there for 20 minutes. When we came out of the house, the motorbike was no more there. He told me to follow him on to the fruit plantation. While at the plantation, he received a phone call informing him that another chinese police patrol was nearby. Wehid at the plantation for another 20 minutes. In the meantime, I was thinking of giving up. He told me recently that the chinese police checks were getting more stringent. I thought what if I get caught? I left china illegally and enter burma illegally, how to argue? Another biker came with 2 more chinese gamblers, my rider told me we are all ready to go mongla. I told I am giving up, I want to return to daluo. They proceed while I paid someone $6 for the 1km ride to the daluo check-point bcos I carried my luggage. When I reached there, I called my driver and we returned to xishuangbana."

Re: Kunming, Lijiang, Yunnan - China

Here's my whatsapp conversation with my friend who's currently in xishuangbanna until 10 Aug 2017. Hopefully these conversations can throw some light with regards to d cheong situation in xishuangbanna.

My friend : Better luck next time. I already booked air ticket from xishuangbana to guangzhou on 10/8/17. $270.

Me : Anyway just enjoy those women in xishuanbanna
My friend : Yes, this is quite a nice place.

Me: Anything to share today, R there Turkish bath in xishanbana
My friend : Half an hour ago, I went out to top-up my hp. When I reached my condo downstairs, a chicken I called before asked me to go for 1 round. I just finished the round. Now just come back to my room for shower. After that going out again to top-up my hp. So far, I have not patronised other chickens outside of my neighbourhood. There are not many massage parlours in xishuangbana. I doubt there are soapy in this town.

My friend :- Last night, the driver told me today 2 chinamen wanted to go mongla today at 10am. He asked me to join them, I agreed. That means they sneaked in while I legally crossed the customs. This morning the 2 chinese changed their minds, they went to Laos instead. So I stay put here. Share transport is cheaper.

Me :- Actually I think there's bus from xishuangbanna to daluo
My friend:- There are buses going to daluo but I thought cars are more comfortable.

Me :- U can ask d people in xishuangbanna, r there many pros and casinos in mongla
My friend :- Many.

Me:- So yesterday u book he many gals
My friend:- 2

Me :- Wow, Strong, One gal $16 is it.
My friend:- Got to depend on viagra. One $16 one $10.

Me:- Is the food exp in xishuanbana
My friend:- I just had a satisfying lunch at a sichuan restaurant. $7 for a big fish, $2 for a big plate of fried kangkong, drinks and a few bowls of rice $2. Everynight I go for braised duck drumstick for $1.60 each. Food is cheap. Accomodation is cheap. Room with aircon and tv one month rental is $120. Transport is cheap. This is a nice place for retirement. Plenty of greenery. Nearby towns also got chickens. The driver told me there is a town where there are plenty of cheap young vietnamese girls. Here is also near to burma and laos.

Me :- Tks for info
Me:- So how many gals u book these few days
My friend :- Average one day 2 women.

Me:- U book d massage girl isit Or d freelancers
My friend:- So far all street walkers. The massage parlour here are all open concept like barracks no cubicles. More like tcm massage. Old men and old women massage you.

Me:- Tmr u go Guangzhou, v fast
My friend:- Yes. This is a nice place. Cheap lodging, food and sex. I enjoy staying here. Zhuhai cost of living will be high. I don't know I can last how many days there.

Me :-Yr third attempt, go mongla from where
My friend: From Xishuangbana is the easiest way.
Me: I doubt can go mongla legally from daluo. If can that agent would hv done for u instead of riding u illegally

My friend: -For chinamen they must have passport and business pass($30). For casino operators, the junket told me they can bring me in easily, but I don't want to get involved with these junkets.

Me :- officially d border open for China n Myanmar people only. Foreigners can't cross officially

My friend:- Maybe we can try from kengtiong.
Me :- Ya

My friend : I was told the riders bring you from daluo to mongla $30 and when you enter mongla you pay another $11 for bribery.
Me :- If can be done, its OK for me. Go by kengtiong also got other problems, might be forced to engage guide at usd50 a day

I read that officially can only enter through Myanmar. However, the border fighting is still on, so immigration don't allow us to go mongla.

From south China post :- http://m.scmp.com/news/asia/southeas...r-china-border

At least 30 people were killed Monday in a day of intense fighting in a town on Myanmar’s border with China, authorities said, after rebels dressed in police uniforms launched a surprise raid.

Artillery and small arms fire continued throughout the day in Laukkai, a main town in the Kokang region of the northeastern state of Shan.

The clashes are some of the worst to break out in the Chinese-speaking Kokang region since fighting in 2015 left scores dead and forced tens of thousands to flee across the border into China.

sohbuckkong,

Thats dangerous.

Why insist on entering Mongla?

Read online its a town where everything goes from prostitution to selling endangered animals and the massive gambling dens.

Is that really worth our time and risk entering Mongla?

Just a thought.

The only way in for foreigners these days is the unofficial route from Daluo Town, China.
Bro sohbuckkong's friend was so close to Mission Impossible Mongla but he backed out.
If you've been in China for a long time you'll know a lot of things can be settled by either money or good diplomatic skills.

Bro matong36 when you reach that level it's not so much about cheap bonks or indulgence in vices.
It's about the adventure and authentic experience where you cannot get elsewhere.

You go down to any travel agency in Singapore and ask them the following.

Humsup Tony, "Arlo auntie I wan go Mongla in Myanmar. Gotch any tour packet for 2 or not? There veli shiok wan. I wan take peekcher with warlord army soldier holding AK47.

Sum more my China SIM kart boleh jalan there and also can use RMB leh."

Auntie, "WTF!???"

Thumbs up for sohbuckkong's report.

Very well put. Not just about Cheap Bonks, but about adventure and satisfying an unknown curiosity. Going to same safe spots can get boring. But travel to Mongla sound like a big headache and not so easy for old man like me anymore.

Cheap Bonks with supposed large supply of VN/CN/MY fair skin ladies is just the bonus, many rumors of this but yet to see any proof myself. Although if you watch from about 2:20 of the video below, the streetfull of ladies reminiscent of glory days of Geylang Talma Rd in its glory days.

Interesting sharing on Mongla. Angmor dun mind going there yet Asians who can speak Chinese worry so much?

Border towns always have this "wild frontier" attraction.
