When I was at Le Duyen salon, the girl asked me, "Anh yeu may nguoi?" I thought she asked me "How many girlfriends do you have?" But later it seemed like her meaning was "How many girlfriends have you ever had?" Any "master" here can confirm my suspicion?

Actually, ăn cơm chưa = have you eaten (rice, proper meal) yet? The "chưa" means "yet".

This is the only and single word I know.

...mmm..."an" instead of "anh" for short-form, learned something... I tot "cua" instead of "chua". The variation may confuse many of us..I supposed. Pick up a fair bit reading Jack's entries...

not correct leh.

an is not anh.
an = eat
anh = pronoun (like I, you)

cua is not chua.
cua = of (eg Ban cua anh = friend of mine)
chua = yet (an chua? = eat yet?)

"Anh di dao" shd be Anh di dau (you go where?)

Above is what I think after learning TV for the last few months, I may be wrong.

Bro, recently i send sms to my Vn gf using this sentence, except that I replaced the word "ngay"(days) with "tuan"(weeks).

She quickly replied that my Vietnamese has improved alot and that she is pleasantly surprised. Haha... I didn't tell her that I have a sifu like u...
