I think the biggest difference for me is the concentration of shops. In Bkk there are concentration of shops within walking distance of downtown MRt/BTS. So if you don't like what you see, the next stop is another market. In JKT I don't think so. And a place like Thermae is missing pls don't say it's CJs. At Thermae you can get real sideliners aka people with day jobs. And gals from all ages undergrad to 40 I think.
