Herpes or paranoia?

bro... i dont recall i get any cold sore on my mouth. and i have seeked a doctor to look at my blister on genital area.. doc say is just normal skin irritation not herpes related sores.


so now im really dont know when i got herpes. since i cannot recall any symptoms.

or mayb i got it when i was still a kid etc. which may explain why i tested positive.

Yes that is possible since HSV1 is easily transmitted between family members. However since the test is not that reliable it is also possible that you don't have Herpes. Either way it does not matter if you don't experience any symptoms.

Herpes is a non issue unless you get repeated outbreaks. The majority of those who are infected never suffer any outbreaks at all and they lead normal and happy sexual lives. Herpes is the last thing on their minds.

That's up to the individual concerned to decide.

With the anti viral medication available nowadays outbreaks are easily treated so they are far less of a problem than they used to be.

Went to the gp to get his opinion. Doctor say that the pimple on my pubic area is just infected folliculitis. Taking antibiotics and cream. As for the facial pimples, as long as no multiple blisters/filled with fluid, no use worrying about it. Hahaha

Went to my local gp to get something my upper lip checked out. Doctor then said that it was the starting of a cold sore. Asked him about testing, he said no need. Sent me home with a saline wash and zoval cream. Feeling damm down now. What a way to start the weekend. Do i still go for the 3mo mark test? To kind of confirm things? So many questions. Sian

Why bother? Almost everyone has Herpes. My GF used to give me fantastic blow jobs despite having cold sores. We thought it was just "heatiness".

That's required only if there are repeated outbreaks. Most with Herpes have no symptoms whatsoever.
