TS, agree, u did something stupid...even though this is a well known scam and recently, SPF has been emphasizing on these scams, with TV, newspaper as well as social media talking about it.

Anyway, wat is done is done. Like bros stated, u can report to SPF but they probably can't do much about it as it's the girl is probably residing overseas.

Just bite the bullet, close ur Skype/FB account and wait for the affair to blow over. Like the bros have stated, if u pay, u will cont'd to pay as they will use the video to milk u dry.

Worse case is video get publish......best case is...they know u're not paying....they will eventually drop it and move on to the next potential dick head...oops sorry, I mean victim.

Well, expect them to `harass' u thru' ur accounts known to them......so, to prevent them from doing so...u probably want to close all accounts known to them....be it mail/FB/Skpe...etc.

Step 1 : Report Police

Step 2 : Download or buy a software that can permanently delete illegal or obscene video & photo. Watching online is Ok, just don't keep. This will impact you less when SPF collect your PC/notebook for investigation.

Step 3 : Download or buy software that can record video.

Step 4 : Must pretend she is kidding, continue to chat. Try to bargain the terms & conditions. Keep record of the chat. Record her face.

Step 5 : If money is required to be sent ASAP, check whether police is ready to track and apprehend the culprit. Must have receipt, bank account number, preferably her SG account.

I'm not good in FB. Would changing the confidentiality or setting enough to block one particular friend from posting anything on your FB ? Likewise, after the change in setting, could this friend still see the rest of your friends ?

I ask bcos TS might still need a mean for her to contact TS, if FB is their default channel.

Talking about that, TS, can you face the consequences if you choose to ignore her and the video leaks ? Are you currently attached ?
