Kena fined , paid up, walked off. Now the question In the box in job application. Have you been charged in the courts before What should i put ? |

Put nothing. No one bothers with traffic offences. Most HR copy paste such interview form question to take up space. No one bothers to verify it anyway. I know bec I used to run HR in my previous life.

A warrant of arrest means the police can arrest you on sight. If ICA updates its systems, you risk being apprehended there. Why take the risk?
I have a relative who forgot to pay his traffic fine and it escalated into a warrant of arrest. The police actually visited his home to whisk him away. I saw it myself. He managed to convince the officers it was a genuine oversight and that he was not a flight risk. They let him stay home. Next day, he kwai kwai rush to pay. |
