How you guys hide your location when driving EV to playgrounds?

Sorry to say if you are one of those dumb enough to buy an EV to drive now in 2024, you totally deserve to get tracked when you go driving it anywhere to your "playgrounds".

Simple, during delivery, dont bring your wife.

Or, you go to your settings, privacy, and turn off vehicle tracking. of course, if you have the app, then you turn it off, then you also cannot check lah.

Why is buying Ev now dumb? Not so far in future you will only have Ev on the roads.

Nowadays everything has link to phone app can be a convenience or a curse.

Last time all we had to do was erase the history of the onboard gps unit. But nowadays cars use android auto or apple carplay to link to your phone for all the apps and GPS. Get on the car, straightaway must turn on location and bluetooth on the phone. Bo pian. It's worse if you are driving halfway with your spouse onboard then got message from spa lady asking why you so long no come visit Or the spouse fiddle with the car display which is linked your phone to read your messages while you are busy driving.

Like the above title, EV shows your location and even your history of your recent trip. If you shared the car with gf or wife, what do you guys do?

just like any EV owners do..

a slight detour means you are looking for a charging point. just tell partner oh i decided to find a charge point.

if partner smart enough to ask why the charge is still so low. just say oh i whacked the car abit last night so battery depleted quite a bit.
