As far as Nana is concern, please do not pay until the transaction is over and make sure the time leave is LT, if they leave early you only pay them ST price......it have happened many times already recently!

You pay for LT then they go and see the Thai Bf in the middle of the night!

Secondly, pay the money to Mamasan then you can complain if there is any problem the next day.........to avoid all the trouble, make things clear with the girl before the deal is sealed!

Re: first time to bangkok

Hi bro,
I will be going to Bangkok on 11~14-Apr-09 for Songkran.
Already started loading up bullets for my AK16
I am now looking to book hotel. I am not sure whether I should book hotel at Sukhumvit MRT area (near to soil cowboy) or Huai Khwang MRT area (near to Nataree MP). Can any bro please advise which location is most happening and having most SYT?
Can I bring girl friend back to hotel?

Its still splashing on the 14th so be careful when going to airport. Not fun to sit on a plane for a few hours all wet.

You have to check with the hotel itself if not they will charge you an extra of 600 bahts per additional guest.

Huay Hwang areas ~ lots of MP and a few club like Claudia and Carabean and some nice restaurents.......!

SUK area ~ Soi Cowboy and NEP more towards pubs and agogo......so you have to decide!

Palazzo and Hip Hotel in Huay Hwang is girl friendly with 2 breakfast vouchers......even you are sleeping alone!

Hi bro,
Thanks for the good advice, never had any problems, but no harm to be more careful.

My humble two cents.

Hi,

I'm planing to visit BKK sometime this year, was told by my friend that there are currently building a MRT line to link from Airport to the City. Any BKK expert know when is it going to start this Airport Mrt link? Was told should be this year. Also can recommend any hotel near this Airport link Mrt stations? Many thanks!

Re: first time to bangkok

I would seriously advise against coming here during songkran. Especially if you're here hoping to play.

Most of the girls/everybody will be going back to their provinces. As for drinking, there is word going about that drinking might be banned this Songkran.

The construction of the City Airport Terminal in Makkasan and the 29 km of high speed rail link (airport Express) is still on going...only on a slow pace. This line will be known as the Pink line and will connect BTS Sukhumvit and MRT Phaya Thai and Phetchaburi respectively.

The non stop express train will end at Makkasan station near Mrt Phetchaburi and normal train end at Bts Victory Momument.
