the hard part is whether u believe it or not.
the advice is 放下和看开.
everyone will have up & down.
which 1 more or less depend on yr fate.
what we ourselves can do is to learn to 放下和看开.
once you start to learn, things will start to change.
be patient, its not an over-nite thing.
it will be a long journey.

Be careful of temples that veer towards the materialistic ways.
Buddha gave up his kingdom and riches to serve mankind..... but it's sad that many enter monkhood now for the easy money and donations.
It pains me to see monks and temple staff asking for donations more than they pray.

What did you ask, and what advice she gave you? So far, she never fails to help, as far as I know. Suffering, yes, but somehow you will get thru.

Not even the person who curse the victim could undone its damage. Why? A witch set a curse had to met the "data" btw the victim and a spirit. She is no god unlike the old man under the moon. I am kidding still this old deity cant uncut the magic he gave. Not that I know.

So this goes with the witch doctor, assume the curse works the victim is connect to his evil spirit. Somehow, all monks including Constance take away he spirits and, put it under maybe a temple or church. Still that's not fix because the bond it never broken. Nothing in the spirit world could stop karma that's what the Buddha teaching. I am no religions teacher no Sir.

There is no help only a short while, only the victim pass on could he be free. Then the spirit may burn in hell for the chain is finally broken. I am sorry for the victim and his spirit.
