Guess the shooing you off during the shaving is a way of protecting the modesty. You know how some can be very conservative.

...talking abt modesty...there is no more modesty left anymore for yr wife once she arrives at the birthing section in the hospital

..she will be told to strip herself completely naked

for all the necessary pre-procedures to be done, having to remove her maternity gown and her bra and panties especially

..for all the medical personnel both male doctors and attendants and female nurses to see if they are the ones involved in the preparation for the birth of the baby...or for those who are not, they may just pop in to 'discreetly' watch in the guise of helping to do something related to the procedures

...i tink the one who is more traumatized is me and not my wife...she was traumatized by the fear and pain of going thru' the caesarian ops whereas i am more traumatized mentally and emotionally

...being forced to separate and blocked off from her by all the hosp staff as if i am a stranger guy who is not her husband and who has no business to be around her

.. childbirth is a thrilling experience for both husband and wife and we r now talking abt the hosp having no right to rob the couple of watching this wonderful experience by separating the husband away from his wife during the birthing process from the time they reach the hosp till the time they leave it...
