Direction to Jinyu in ZH is in bro break's signature (http://sammy.services/showpos...postcount=1686). He is a supporter of Jin Yu hotel. I may stay in a different hotel in March for a change.

The underground mall near the gongbei customs is a good place to shop. Lots of variety. Shops along LHL are also places to get a bargain. Always bargain as they tend to offer a high starting price, esp to foreigners.

Not recomm to buy those fake watches...dun work after a week or so.. Thai one much better..last a few years before it retires.. Shoes (fake label) also not so lasting - the stick-on labels come off after a month or two of regular usage. I reckon clothes tend to be better..more lasting.

Yes, do bargain hard... but not haggle for too long.. typically if fairly reasonable I take, otherwise just walk on looking less interested although I'm interested! (we are not so good at price-arguing with the PRCs). The best buy at Zh for me so far is food actually.. (S$1 buys 6 pieces of dim-sum at the roadside stall for 2 persons to eat until full!! Here S$1 can't even buy 1 piece of old-chang-kee currypuff)...

totally agreed with u on the fake watches and shoes ... i have not bought any from china before but my friends & colleagues have complaint that it's useless ... doesn't even last at all ... unlike the fake watches from thailand .. it can last longer and the quality are damn good ...

i'm not into food ... don't eat much ... afraid of putting on more weight than i should have ..
u r right ... the damn old-chang-kee currypuff cost S$1.20 each now ...
that's 20% increase for the past 4 mths ... KNN ...

Hey Bro Oasis2002, just need to check. Will be staying at the Westin Resort. Is Lisboa and the rest of the above suggested venues far away? Taxi convenient?

hi bro,

I think Westin Resort is about 20 min taxi ride to 回力球場 (very near to Hongkong- Macau ferry terminal)

Darling I is on 回力球場 3rd floor
China City Nite club is on 回力球場 1st floor
(10 min walk from Hongkong- Macau ferry terminal) (you can't miss the building, near to Yaohan building)

18 sauna is on 6th floor of 金龙酒店 aka Golden DragonHotel (5 min walk from 回力球場)

Old and new Lisboa is about 5-10 min taxi ride from 回力球場

There are many saunas, niteclubs in Macau, is not a must to visit the above mentioned places. But I have tried them all and so far my experiences there are good in term of quality and quantity.

Feb may not be a good time as the most pretty chinese MMs may not be back from CNY.

Have fun

Cheers

I don't think its 20 minutes unless you hit heavy traffic. Macau isn't that big and I remember it only took about 5-10 minutes for me.

Re: Macau or Zhuhai

hi all brudders....seldom post dwn here...Here afew queries, hopefully u guys can lead me along. I knw they have been asked before but pls do me a favour and answer me this time round.

I'll be going to Shenzhen/Zhuhai/Macau this coming 2nd April.
There are some doubts which maybe u guys can help:-
1.) From SZ, how do i get to ZH fastest? Hw long? And the estimated transport costs?

2.) Understd frm a web that Zhuhai borders closes at 12 midnight. Is this true? What's the latest timing i must leave ZH in order to cross the borders to Macau? Hw long is the journey?

3.) Apart LHL, where esle (KTV, massage salons) do u recommend?

4.) Which is the most accessible hotel to all the entertainment areas?

Thanks all in advance!
