Formosa is my SAFE HAVEN in Batam. 86 days spent there along 16 visits in the last 4 years.
Outstanding staff, always smiling, efficient, neat service, safe. I could not desire more.

How's the air-con in Formosa from your point of view?
How's the WiFi or internet connection from your point of view?
I manage to "fixed" this 2 main issues of the hotel's shortcoming during my stay there over my last 6 trips,hehehe...hence i am not changing Hotel until if there is a hotel that fits the criteria of :
1. Good cooling enough Air-con
2. Good internet connection - most important
3. No in-room insects.
4. No hantu
5. Joints , food and entertainments within less than 5 - 10 mins walk
6. Reception & staffs speaks English.(& friendly)
7. Safety
I spend some effort fixing a few of the hotel's bad,so i'll stay there until i can find a bad which i cannot fixed or if the hotel moved. Come to think of it,i hear from the people in Centre Point that part of the building is going to be convert into a hotel. It's beside Formosa and am looking for that to happen,hehehe....

they have shorter stay voa. it should be USD$10 for 7 days, but somehow my friend was charged $15. i oso dont know why. anyway. it's not 2 different terminal. it's just different queue line. after made payment for voa, can proceed to VOA line which is usually no people queueing.. depends on got officer stand by or not,, something the booth is empty. dont know where the heck they go, and the officer in other booth dont give a single damn..

1) Weak, too weak when we are 3 people sleeping in the room, but it's ok
2) Excellent. Better than in many hotels of Singapore I tried, where supposedly everything should be hi-tech.
