My sentiments exactly! The worst is the comitte selling players at low fees! In my opinion,

For sure Skyrtel could fetch min 8-10mil
For sure JA could fetch 18-20 mil.
for sure DS could fetch 25-30mil and use this to get a marquee striker. To be fair to Markovic...he was really marginalised by that celtic football genius!! I thought he is a good player and maybe worth around 10-12mil.

Clyne is not the only one who wants to leave.

Coutinho & Firminho both oso wants out because they cannot tolerate the daily intensive triple sessions pre-season training programme.... they are complaining sibeh siong.

Flanagan is another one who cannot cope with the pre-season sessions due to his previous injury and Klopp wants to loan him out to give him more time to recover and get playing time as he will not be able to cope with Klopp's strategy & tactics in his present condition.

I am not a fan of Liverpool's transfer committee/management of player's contracts but in regard to current valuations I think to be fair you have to take into account the impact of the bumper payout to all EPL clubs from the latest mega tv rights deal.

In the EPL today going by latest crazy valuations, I would say £30m is equivalent to the 'old' £20m and likewise £40m is equivalent to the 'old' £30m. Unfortunately there is going to be a premium where any EPL clubs are involved and yet a higher premium if the player is English.

Gotze going to Dortmund for around £21.7m compared to Wijnaldum going to Liverpool for £25m is a good example. Gotze probably chose Dortmund because of CL action, that said I don't think BM would have been happy to settle for much less than the going market rate(in the Bundesliga as compared to EPL).
