Time to give a short summary of my last trip. My 5th trip to Batam on 4th June 2014 and returned on 5th June 2014.
Got a Formosa hotel room thru Kaha by phone at 480k 3 days before travelling date, cost of the phone call about S$10.00. Took the morning ferry ,reached Harbour Bay...and harbour bay arrival/departure hall was having some renovation since the month before. Grab a cab to Kaha to and then head for the hotel at 30k. It was raining...
Got my fav room and check in at an early than usual time, and while on my way down heading for lunch, saw the same friend i met during the my 4th Batam trip. It was purely coincidence as we didn't call each other but just pure luck i met him there and i don't knwo if that's good luck or bad luck. As the day continue to rain on & off,we both decide to have lunch at Tea Story,a small cafe inside Formosa hotel itself.
My plan for this 5th Batam trip is to get to Happy Massage 8 ,book a girl there and report back here. Due to the MTQ...i am not expecting any good out of this trip...so just go there to experience what an Ultra crowded Batam is going to be like. Most joints i heard will be close on the 1st and last day of MTQ where this event commerce from 5th June - 14th June.
They turned Formosa Hotel entrance into this :
After lunch,my friend and me go our own way...he go to another massage place and i head to locate Happy Massage 8.
Due to the rain,i have to make 3 attempts to locate this new joint which according to bro NewYorker says used to be called Flamingo. The place is not physical easy to find. It is behind Centre Point, and centre point is directly beside Formosa. (walk out Formosa Main glass door, turn left and walk to building beside)
After walking behind Centre Point, one needs to follow the road down the row of shop houses on the left to reach an "Octopus-looking Junction". Once you are at the "Octopus Junction",don't cross the road yet until you locate a Giantic sign board name SIGA Photo Studio...Happy Massage 8 is at the same building where the Giant Sized SIGA sign is. It's an Octupus Junction,so crossing the road is not going to be easy to get to the SIGA sign building. Below is the joint's name card for your reference :
The mummy name is :
...and with her hp number. The girl name i book is Icha...no.1.
Look : 6.5/10
Boobs : C++
BBBJ : bbbj only during 1st shot,2nd and 3rd shot are BJ with helmet on
Age : 28
Body : slim with some baby fat
FJ : 5/10 (1st time i bonk a loose pussy in Batam, quite an experience for me)
Attitude : can speak a bit of broken English,no playing of HP,no demands but a bit on the quiet side with very minimum smile. Son is 11 years old ,contract ending on June 2014 and may not be back to Batam.
Overall experience : 5/10 i rate it an average rating at best becos this is the 1st time i only get 3 shots in my Batam trip.I didn't ask for 4th round cos unexplainably i find something not right with my girl but just cannot describe it in words. I guess we have no chemistry or she didn't like me...lol.
Overall of my trip,i do not have high expectation...in fact i have near zero expectation on this trip due to the last min change of plan to head to Batam becos of the MTQ national event that crash into my original plan. I'd say this is just a "Normal" Batam trip, and it is better than my 4th one last month. I may try to go on Ramadan month, just to get a feel of what it is like during those time...have not really decided.
Hmm...will need to look thru this thread again and try to anticipate how bad it'll go if i were to plan to go next month...to Batam.
Exchange rate is 9400/SGD...on 4th June 2014.
Add-on info :
My Booking fee is 650k,was quote 750k. Tell mami that i didn't have driver and the price came down to 650k. According to my girl,in this joint Happy Massage, pricing is at 750k,850k,900k,1 juta,1.2 juta and 1.5 juta. And 1.5 juta is age 18-19 years old.
This will be the map im using for my Batam Virgin trip after ramadan. Just for the benefit of anyone who need it as much as me....
If any mistake or addon, please do tell me. I can easily edit via layers...
Reference : Taken from 1400++ pages + nono guide (I didnt read the last 300 pages as it is quite outdated already since 2007)
A little correction.. Goldbird aka Sedona should be on top of Batam Star Hotel, not at below.. to be exact, just on top of letter 'B' of Batam Star Hotel wording.
Then, to left side block, there's small number '104', that is KAHA. the place where cheongters can get cheaper rate room. it's quite important too, ha ha,,
haha...I understand what you are trying to say and do...trust me...no use because newbies being newbies are blind...plain lazy...they just rather ask...and the thing why I stopped answering questions including pm...simply because when I answered one question...they have 10 more questions to ask...haha...my signature had been there since 2008 and constantly updated in my website...foc yes free no charge...so why do I bother to answer if I give help foc....
so I make another things easier for newbies...I asked newbies to make friends with me by intro me who they are...haha...guess what...I managed to cut alot of newbies who I am not keen to meet...simply they have wrong ideas and intentions...now only share info (those local HCM playground) with friends only...
I guess our perspective is different here. You are a senior physical guide who help others out of good gesture in HCM and a very senior posters of the HCM thread and this forum. I am new to Batam and am learning as i went along with the thread.Nonetheless if i were to become guide in Batam,i'd take your method to ask newbies to intro themselves to me too....lol...then again i am currently too newbie and too noob to do physical guide for people around in Batam. The most i could do is answer questions here to the best of my limited knowledge when it comes to travelling in Batam.
There is one thing in the HCM thread, the part where you gather donations & garner help from all over the places to help the local needy with food and daily necessities, you have my utmost respect on this one. I sincerely salute you for your effort and heart to do the good work.

The map is well-mapped with the near exact location of each joint. Now i need to ask you for a favor & permission...may i use your map on my upcoming guide in future? I may need to modify in accordance over time tho.
Hope you don't mind.

I understand the need for efficiency when researching for info for academic or work purpose. But, this is for pleasure. Just simply relying on provided might cause you to miss out important tips that are contained in the forum posts and can only be found by reading them.
Exactly the same reason why my guide is there, where instead of answering the question, they are being pointed to the guide. Then again,my guide is only designed for newbies or 1st timer Batam visitors at the moment. In future, all the FAQ will be garner into a single post ,and all questions answered before will be direct to the link...currently there is a temporary one here ,just that it hasn't really reach it's peak of being called informative yet. They will read if they are interested, but if they aren't...i guess it's their lost...hehehe...
I still believe, newbie or 1st time traveller needs the basic. And if i can gather enough basics for easier reading,it helps newbie to increase their confidence level when they travel. I am newbie today,my question is always..."what if i don't bring enough money","what if some situation crops up?","how much should i bring there and how much extra to bring in case of emergency?" , "what can i expect if i run into a situation (kena chop,over-stay,cash stolen, kena send back to Singapore from Batam Custom) and how to handle it" etc etc...after these basics then will be,"will i get a good fuck or a nice girl with no issues" type of questions.
Typing this now reminds me of the news i read in Wan Bao papers yestersay, where a family of 10 heading to Batam for the 1st time, where 3 of them kena send back to Singapore becos they were "talking" in the Indo Batam Custom while waiting for their passport to get chop.
Btw,i 101% agree with your saying on missing out IMPORTANT POINTS when one choose not to read the Thread postings. The exact same reason i have to keep reading and reading all over again the same thread here. The physical feel of reading the same post before i go to Batam and after i go to batam is totally different. And that is when i found out i missed out not just "something" & a lot....lol
Thumbs up to u,bro!!

Maybe i got your description wrong, but i think he got the almost correct point on Gold Bird...it cannot be behind Batam Star/LaiLai,it's actually more like opposite Batam Star, next to the building. When he put it on top of Batam Star,it becomes "behind" Batam Star which is not correct. Perhaps i should go Gold Bird to look see one more time,or maybe bro qwerty2009 can go Gold Bird to personally see it himself.
As for Kaha,it is not all the time cheaper than online booking according to this thread & other forums. The only thing i find missing is Indah Indah...lol...i know it's opposite Hotel Balai but i don't know how to pin point it with the map...lol.
And New Permata Indah,i heard it's closed from my recent trip on 4th June but have not verified it. Cos the girl i book from Happy Massage 8 says she is from Permata Indah and that they have shifted from the old location to the current ex. Flamingoa area...guess i will have to wait till my next trip to verify this or if any bros here can help verify if they are there.

in HCM thread dun consider guide but senior who knew the places and bring friends around economically for free...no charge...
I dun garner help from all over places...we are a group of friends and donors (include myself using my own $$$)...who likes to do charity to help the poor and needy...we do twice per year...just who keen to donate and are friends who trust will do charity together...we fly there to do ourselves without giving cash but give food and raw ingredients..

I've not taken a look at the map, but Sedona (Gold Bird) is indeed behind Batam Star Hotel. Directly behind Batam Star Hotel (connected by a backdoor) is a coffee shop and opposite the coffee shop is Sedona.
The mie ayam and goreng pisang keju at the coffee shop is great. Better than the one at The French Bakery near Nagoya Mall.

To All : Thanks for info, edited and changed as advised ...
In either case, I always believe in making a favour for the others no matter how lazy that person is. The world is round. Who knows one day you need his help either

Can't agreed more.newstar coffeeshop but still my favourite food there is the indomie with rice been 6 years but still my favourite food when i pay a visit to sedona.
Any bros can advise where I should go to get special service massage that cost around 100-300k? I just went to everyday massage but didn't get any luck. Any place confirm will kena one?

Sorry,bro...shouldn't say you garner help from all over places,i believe the correct word i was trying to imply is you actually inspired people to help with a good cause. S$1 may not buy me half a meal in sillypore, but S$1 may be able a keep a few from being hungry in other countries. Good job there, bro.

Woah! i know the coffee shop opp sedona, quite popular with the girls...that means all along i may have been going in and may be out of sedona back door...lol...cos i always go w/o cab and got to take a cab from there back to Formosa.
Guess next trip will need to go Goldbird (sedona) 1 more time to navigate the place. Kind of hate the front door back door thingy like Nagoya Hill Mall. I only realise on my 3rd trip that the direction where i walk from Formosa to Nagoya Hill Mall is actually the back door of the Mall...lol.
Thx for the heads up bro.

Thank you bro Qwerty2009. Out of respect,a permission is still needed when i use other people recent creation ma...wait later you sue me for copyrights...*joking*...hahaha...
Yea,perhaps will work together with you...but i backing up most data here to another forum for easier reference so that it can be criss-cross here & there due to the user friendliness of posting and reading there and its abilities to auto size down the image for an easier read up as well. I realise that the map you have here is 1.6 mb,hehehe...Nonetheless,i will need the map for future guide building very much, hence i ask your permission to use it and yes,i will update you if i need help from you..perhaps one day we can go Batam to cheong together as well as to learn the place together if you are interested and if that place suits your cheonging needs.
Once again,i thank you for allowing me to use the map outside this thread.

I have replied your PM,bro.
One more thing to add in regards to finding massage places with special service. Check out a senior bro here by the name Newyorker88 in this thread. Click on his signature...got many massage place to choose from there and 90% all got special service. If you still can't find one that can "confirm" offer special, then i believe it's pure bad luck.

Very sorry about that...but being a newbie myself,i just came back from Batam and knowing that there is an MTQ event from now till 14th June(or 15th June) and Hotel rooms in Batam are relatively quite tight both online and walk-in...i think if it's within my means to get the info here and that i happen to be on a comp and online now,so just answer those question "direct" as i have encounter the same situation of urgency looking for hotel rooms just before my recent trip to Batam this month.
Maybe it's human nature,i just got bitten in Batam while searching for hotel rooms in my recent trip, that's why don't want see others to get bitten during this period of time as well.
Most of my answers to most newbie questions are not so direct,eg bro RoyalShinchan's question...i don't give a direct answer but instead give them a lead to where he should start looking for massage place that "confirm" got special.(there are so many and yet i didn;t mention the names) And if they are keen for answers, they will look thru my lead,otherwise...well...they can give it a miss. Another answer i often give is to ask them read my guide if answers can be found there...hehehe...
