I usually like to give my summary take on the game but last night's match was something truly special which no normal summary can do justice.

The special stories that only football can write. I will never forget last night

Again, our defence is our weakness but fortunately, our 2 central back redeemed themselves for the careless defence with 2 fine headers.

It was indeed a great game . It should be called the mother of all comebacks.

It is great to see the 12th man back at Anfield. What an atmosphere . It had been missing for a long time.

From historical records there have not been any back to back winners so the chances of Liverpool lifting the Cup this year is great as Sevilla oredi won the Cup last year.

There are many back to back winners in the UEFA Cup.
Since the competition was renamed to UEFA Europa League Sevilla is the only team to have won the cup back to back.
Sevilla also holds the record for the most victories in this competition.

The only club to have won consequtively was Sevilla.... back in 2006 & 2007 (UEFA Cup)..... and in 2014 & 2015 (Europa League Cup). No other club has done it either in the UEFA Cup (1971-2008) or Europa League Cup (2009 - ).

Since the Europa League Cup was started in 2009..... the past winners are :-

2009 - Shaktar Donesk
2010 - Athletico Madrid
2011 - Porto
2012 - Athletico Madrid
2013 - Chelsea
2014 - Sevilla
2015 - Sevilla

I hope you are correct. Liverpool has been kind to me this past 2 months and I have been winning my bets on their games. I am going to place my bets on them winning the EL Cup. Huat Ah!!
