Rafael Van der Vaart's 30-yard strike was just enough for Spurs to see off a spirited Watford side 1-0 in their FA Cup fourth round clash at Vicarage Road

Wigan next at WHL before a real busy and tough fixtures ahead. We need to secure a win for this match in order to at least maintain in 3rd. Hopefully, no repeat of last season.

bro it is a good victory secured. brilliant bale and manificent modric didnt take any prisoner. this should be wigan's last season in epl.

Gareth Bale netted a double as Tottenham closed the gap on Premier League leaders Man City

goodbye pavy! the 42 goals you scored for spurs are all finger licking good!
i am curious why he has to go back to russia, he is good enough for many euro top leagues' clubs.

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko will join Lokomotiv Moscow after the two clubs agreed to an £8 million fee for his transfer.

Roman Pavlyuchenko struggled for first-team opportunities at Tottenham
Pavlyuchenko has been heavily linked with a move away from White Hart Lane for well over a year and finally made the switch on transfer deadline day.

"We have reached agreement for the transfer of Roman Pavlyuchenko to Lokomotiv Moscow," read a Tottenham statement.

"The striker joined us from Spartak Moscow in August 2008 and went on to score 42 goals in 113 appearances. We thank Roman for his contribution and wish him every success for the future."

We deserve this win, however, we shouldn't have gone to sleep and concede a goal. Nevertheless, it is a good win and a good build-up to the tough matches ahead.

i read harry got saha in. he is a powerful striker and i think what everton's style of play cant do for him, spurs' can. so now spurs strikerforce is all black.

corluka to leverkusen, basson loaned to wolves, pienaar loaned back to everton.

welcum welcum bro. there used to be a tottenham supporter's spursballz pub or something like that near beach road last time, is it still there?

well a point from mighty anfield is good enough lah.

i didnt watch the game but rooney boy is saying suarez kicked parker in the tummy. after balotelli, now suarez? is there a vendetta against our chief destroyer?

espn
However, Rooney's focus was on an incident which occured just moments after Suarez entered the match as a substitute. Suarez was shown a yellow card for catching Spurs midfielder Scott Parker with a kick to the stomach, but Rooney believes the striker should have been sent off.
"If ref sees that kick from Suarez and books him for it, it should be red," Rooney said via Twitter.

Luis Suarez has become embroiled in yet another moment of controversy during his return from suspension, with Wayne Rooney claiming the Liverpool striker should have been sent off in Monday's 0-0 draw with Tottenham

Scoot Parker got kicked in the chest! KNN!!! Suarez missed the ball but kicked Parker. Should have him sent off.

Tottenham all the way! Fear no one. Harry will not go to jail. He will be the next England manager. The judge will pan chance! No worries!

Bro,

Scotty got kicked at his midrift, to be fair to Suarez, both players were looking at the ball dropping from height.

I think Liverpool, to be fair, was the better team last night. Harry wasn't there, Kevin Bond + Joe Jordan + Clive Allen didn't get their subs right, IMHO.

Taking out Adebayor, in come Saha does not help the situation. I think we have to sacrifice Krancjar for Saha instead becoz in this way Liverpool won't be camping in Spurs' half. The balance of the team is there with Scotty clearing all the mess, hence, Krancjar is not effective in either attack or defence as they also have Livermore.

2ndly, Bale is running inwards too much. He should be at the wings crossing with Adebayor + Saha's aerial ability and Liverpool will be kept at bay. Martin Kelly will not be able to run at us when his hands are tied.

Anyway, IMHO, it is 2 points lost becoz of our back-up management team unable to keep our momentum going. Liverpool & KD deserved credit for their great display. I think Liverpool is definitely on the up and challenging for Top 4.

Hopefully, KB + JJ + CA can have more creative cells inserted into them by Harry soon, with Harry busy with his trial, we really needed them to perform.

ok bro i wont hate suarez for kicking scotty.
if ade and saha both play, yes i agree bale will do better to focus on crosses as both are very good in aerial connections as well as half volleys. saha made his name heading in loads for fulham.

greats news harry is cleared from the taxman. but capello is out from england at the same time. knn is this a conspiracy? nothing stops FA from getting crime free harry so boot capello when euro 2012 is just months away?

That is precisely what I think will work for us, but I don't think that KB, JJ & CA sees it.

There's always a possibility of conspiracy here. I just hope they let Harry manage part-time while letting him manage Spurs full-time until the Euro 2012.

To me, this is a very horrendous message from Harry, sounds like he may leave anytime.

Hopefully, he can lead Spurs till the end of the season and bring us into UCL next season before he leaves.
