hey guys, dont waste time arguing about this... the big f ICA will never give you any reason why they dont allow the asian girls from entering singapore without any supporting or valid reason..

the rate of asian girls be turn aways is so much higher than the western counterpart. try that on the western and see what ICA will get... thats simple.

i have encountered many of these incidents and the worst part is the girl can be a first timer to sg and yet still get turn away and furthermore they are required to pay a "fee" when they get turnaway, if not, dont bother to come to sg anymore....

many and tons of such cases and incidents but have anyone hear of western being turn away at the airport unless otherwise stated?

If u have the opportunity to be invited into the "interview room", u will be surprised to see north, south, east, west ppl inside and send back too.

did you know the percentage of asian vs western tourists visiting Singapore...

also did you know the number of single women from asian countries visitng Singapore and staying exactly 30 days more than once in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year...

ICA has all the stats and also the recent AV raids...ICA is not stupid and fully aware what the women are doing...

Do you know that ICA refused entry to some of the porn actresses on tour...their schedule already fully booked and so their clients had to fly to neighbouring countries to get their fixed...

I have a case of mine to seek advice. In Feb 2013, my wife (not gf then) was caught in street with a client, so suspected being a WL and deported. A year later, me being new and naive try to bring her in to ROM (alr gf status). No surprise, she was refused entry and I was heart broken. A uncle ICA officer at office (kind of pity me) told me she was banned 3 years. We endured, we got marrried in vietnam in 2016. We have the vietnam marriage certificate legally.

The ban had been 5 years, but alas I still failed my most recent appeal in Mar 2018. I been appealing like once every year. My MP also wrote letters to support each of my appeal. My employment payslip (>5k/mth), notice of marriage, my CPF statements, income tax, even my Bx barista course completion cert all duly submitted with the usual form 14A, V39I, passport copies etc. But ICA still not convinced to lift her ban entry. We are fearing it’s a life ban. We want to start family here (also stated in appeal letters). We are puzzled, what went wrong, and stuck at how to further increase the success rate. Any kind advice will be much appreciated.

We won't know what your wife actually did causing her arrested but u were brave to get married with uncertainty, maybe due to love.

The chances of your wife coming into SG is very low. Meantime, look for a job opportunity in VN and plan more trips there. Save up and start your own biz n stay there....

Try to appeal regularly, who knows ICA might change and approve her. All the best and lucks.... u will need a lot of these.

A lot fake marriage abusing the privilege causing ICA to tighten up a lot.

Not surprised because you are a local man marrying a vietnamese. Sorry to say it sounds racist but have you considered How different it will be if you are a local woman marrying a caucasian?

I suspect you didn't give us the full story. Any ban longer than 3 years will be based on the severity of the offence.

If I am you then I will work in Singapore and build family in Vietnam. You can visit Vietnam every 2 weeks.

Vietnam economy is booming and if you have a legal Viet spouse, you can apply for spouse resident card and allowed visa to stay for at least 6 months.

Invest in Vietnam property and sure you become rich faster than you work in Singapore.

My guess, she was caught with pants down in the hotel. So love is blind and we cannot say what is "love"....

He is earning SGD >5k and not easy to get a job paying that well in Vietnam...

He needs to have babies to get his appeal strengthen becos gahmen look at babies as core family values. Gahmen also understand babies need their mothers...

His case now without babies after marriage since 2013 will be viewed with "suspicious" since no babies....

I disagree with your views...my friend married a Viet 2 years ago and she is now a Singapore PR holder....oh they also had a baby more than a year old...

Moral of story - marry the right spouse...why marry a WL...

My wife had her 1st application of LTVP approved within weeks and was given LTVP+. Before she had her LTVP+, she regulars her in and out of SG.
