Well Done Chelsea !!!
Keep It Up.
Keep the pressure on Man U.

Look like the match on 15 April 2007 at Stamford Bridge will be a thriller.
It will decide the outcome of the EPL Championship.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Joe Cole is ready to hand Chelsea and England a boost by making a return to action next month.

The skilful midfielder has endured a season of injury torment, but is making good progress from a broken foot.

Cole is set to begin full training at the start of April and he could be in Chelsea colours before the end of next month.

Chelsea are still in a battle for honours in Europe and the Premiership and Cole's return will hand Jose Mourinho an option which has been sorely missed this term, while he is ready to aid England's Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.

"This week's qualifying matches have come just too early," he told the Sunday Mirror.

"I'm just getting back into training and with luck I'll be available for the next round (against Estonia in June).

"I just want to get fit and be in a position to help the lads on the pitch."

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

source, skysports.

Chelsea have emerged as favourites to land Spanish starlet Guillem Savall.

The 18-year-old is considered one of the most promising youngsters in Spain and has emerged through the same youth teams as Barcelona's Bojan Krkic and Aaron Niguez (Valencia) - widely regarded as the best players of their generation.

Savall, though, is held in very high esteem also - but Espanyol have failed to tie him down to a professional deal and as such he is considered an amateur.

Because of this Savall is free to talk to other clubs and Chelsea are reported to have offered very favourable terms to the young stopper.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be keen - but Savall could very well continue the exodus of Spain's brightest young talent to The Premiership.

The path from Spain to England for La Liga's youngest talent is a well trodden path, with the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Gerard Pique and Fran Merida all moving in recent seasons.

Another to make the move is Sergio Tejera - who joined Chelsea last summer, coincidentally from Espanyol.

Espanyol are set to hold talks with Savall and his representatives next week, but local sources suggest the club are resigned to losing the teenager.

Should Chelsea secure Savall, then he is likely not to be the only arrival from Spain as earlier this week Real Mallorca confirmed The Blues had made a move for their young striker Emilio Nsue.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

Headline: Abramovich casts doubts on Mourinho future

Jose Mourinho's future at Chelsea has been thrown into further doubt after it was revealed that Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich held a meeting after the game at Watford on Saturday to discuss his position.

The Russian billionaire owner convened in what the Daily Mirror has described as an 'extraordinary public referendum' with chief executive Peter Kenyon, chairman Bruce Buck and his right-hand man Eugene Tenenbaum all present.

Reportedly in discussions for over 15 minutes, with Mourinho's future top of the agenda, the Chelsea supremo also avoided Chelsea's dressing room after the late win at Vicarage Road, in a bid to steer clear of the Portuguese boss.

Frank Rijkaard, Guus Hiddink, Roberto Mancini and Marco van Basten have all been mooted as possible replacements- but the management structure could be changed entirely with The Independent reporting that Chelsea 'are considering hiring two coaches - one of them English - to be overseen by a senior figure.

'The plan to appoint two coaches under a more general manager would be attractive to Chelsea for many reasons, not least that it would prevent the kind of stand-off that has developed between Mourinho and Abramovich,' the paper asserted.

The Independent also stresses that 'appointment of an Englishman to a senior role at the club' is a 'major priority'.

Essien crowns Chelsea comeback

Essien heartbreak
Despite Chelsea now being noticeably on top, Valencia substitute Miguel Ángel Angulo might have won it with a powerful left-foot drive. Then Cañizares, who had acrobatically kept out Drogba's header shortly before the break, produced another wonderful diving stop from Ballack's late header as a thrilling match appeared destined for extra time. However, the Valencia custodian was powerless to prevent Essien's thunderous strike that gave Chelsea the lead for the first time in the tie with seconds remaining, making the visitors the first English side to win at Mestalla and taking them into the final four.

Bro, congrats!

Good Luck to your team in the semi against Liverpool. Beat them and the trophy is on its way to Stamford Bridge and Kenyon can order a new cabinet.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally

this is from the Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho,

"During the break we were out of the competition but in the second half we were very dominant, dominant, dominant and beat a great team in a tough stadium. On top of that, we were losing at half-time. We deserved to win over the 90 minutes but we were ready for extra time and I had my changes prepared. This season we've had problems with 50 per cent of our players and today we resisted, resisted, resisted. I think any Chelsea supporter has to be proud and even any English fan, as we have three English teams in the semi-finals. Revenge isn't a word for me - not in my life and even less in football. We're at a disadvantage against Liverpool [FC] in the semi-finals because we're still in three competitions"
