Hi, planning a trip there in Febuary. Only a short one.
Plan to fly Cathay and if not Korean and lay over in Seoul for a couple of days.

Now Brix seems to be overwhelmed by viets. Nice to look at but the service sucks, not literary.
There are still some mongols and I think they are the best for value and sometimes long term relationships. They need $ but they also value your friendship. I find they usually can 3p no qualms. Go to the bar on the ground floor of Marriott, they are usually there after Brix closes or want to drink with friends.

Going ub in Febuary 20 for short 4 nights. Stay at ramada as it's downtown.club to go VLVT.loft bar,central bar and restaurant.
Casablanca still ok. The aunties there will bring you to the goodies.
Chong his hotel still ok, so is Irish pub.
Irish pub still worth a try,a bit old. Lots of Korean bars, but you need the ladies from Casablanca to get you in..

Enjoy if u going up.

Changed my dates from 20th to now28 th. Staying 8 days. Anyone game. My mongols here already fixed me up with their friends there.
Places to go VLVT bar somewhat like Brix .loft bar, Irish pub, and for food and nice restaurants central tower restaurant n bar. Chihggs hotel the old medusa on the 10 floor change name but happening.

Go by Korean to Seoul, it's the cheapest and fastest. Cathay is about $800 bucks more. Contemplating a layover the since already there but reading the Seoul thread looks like Japan déjà Vu.
