Just wanted to share an experience I had in Seoul when I was there last month. To cut the story short, because I was totally wasted, I don't have the exact details to the price and location; all I remember it was at Hongdae. I reckon it's an anma from the pages I've read in here.

Much to my memory, I remember I was brought into a room which had a toilet in it and was told to take a shower. (I don't even remember choosing the girl.) I know of two Anmas in Hongdae, I havent been to either one, but curious to know if this is one of them. One is a pretty non-descript solid black building near papa johns (hongik univ station area)..the other I found by accident when I looked outside of my hotel window and saw a bright "안마" sign with a 24 (I'm assuming 24hr). Let me know if you figure it out!

I don't know that area too well yet, but a recent(May 2016) trip report on another forum says there's an Anma in the streets behind city hall over there. I tried looking around in street view...didn't find anything that looked to be an Anma, just the typical double barber pole joints. These street view images are from 2009 though, so it could very well be there in plain view. Good luck!

Anma in Sinchon

I saw a post about this Anma (posted in 2012) a while back. I went to an Anma in Sinchon. Get off Sinchon station, take exit 7. Cross the street and walk down the alley until you reach Anma. You will walk pass a few love motel and double Barbra spinning poll. It is adjacent KIA Motor shop. See Map.

I went there on a Saturday around 4pm. Walked in and was quoted 250K won because they knew that I was a foreigner (Asian, I don’t speak Korea). I tried Sophie of Bohemian when in Seoul.

Visited Eve Anma on July 2. Foreigners friendly, just say "English OK?" then they will escort you to a room. There are about 15-20 rooms inside. You will see a massage bed and a shower room inside. They will ask you to take the first shower by yourself.

So the Melon lip room is definitely closed. I was there a little over a month ago and enjoyed it. However when I went two weeks ago the entire place was empty, even the red window covers were gone. A new massage joint opened up directly across from it though...I'm not sure if it's the same people running it or if there are any extra services though. I might give the massage place a try next weekend.
