This is true but this up-selling "gimmicks" is happening almost every SPAs in Sin-ka-pork.

We as customer can choose go other places as I'm sure there are many "Good" SPA waiting for us to explore.

They've been required to physically check NRIC since 2018. Only legit massage joint that don't check NRIC are those that massage you in the open.

IC info needs to be recorded as spas or TCM places fall under a place or business where patrons are receiving a physical treatment.

That said, there is also a proper way of collecting, processing and storage (safe keeping).

So when you say they 'take photo' I am not sure if that is compliant.

If I go legit places like natureland, I don't mind providing personal info and they do properly record it.

If I plan to explore places that provide other services, if need NRIC or Trace Together, I simply avoid.
