Yes.. even with letter (1st time I do it for vb other then my bx), the ICA don't even bother. They don't even bother to call me. They can bluff num2 that I wrote to ask them to refuse her entry and they can tell her that the $1k she brought over is not enough to spend for the days of her stay (air ticket was 6 days).

1st time in sillypore, she extended 2 mths stay (U-turn). Went back for 5 weeks then come back again for 1 mth. Went back for 1.5 mth then came back for 1 mth (online extension unsuccessful). Went back 3 weeks and try come back again but refused entry. Within the few times she came, she used 3 different addresses and changed 3 passport. which I think this is one big reason for being considered undesirable tourist.

As I had said, normal circumstances those foreigners are allowed to stay in Singapore for 30 days. it a healthy debate it okay. In the past, I had bought numerous Air tkts (easily 20++ a month cos helping 2 mummies) for VB to enter Singapore. I dont earn a single cents cos my ex gf will earn abt $20 for each tkt deliver to airport in vn.

Once I really create a scences in the ICA. That Staff Sergeant very arrogant that why I challenge him. I also took down his name and went to ICA HQ. In the end, ICA still help ICA and they just apologise for his behaviour.

I understand what you are saying due to over the years, Vnese had create a lot of problems in Singapore Society. Thus, nowadays, officers will be penalised for allowing vb entering Singapore. The officers would prefer to send them to the room, let the duty officers or other officers handle the case.

haha...see all these tricks she used to con our ICA...finally she will be finger printed...and her facial may be biometric for future scam...i am sure she used 3 diff names on 3 diff passports...she will be considered for international trafficking...

Thanks for sharing, SS08. Things seem to change liao. I had an experience more than 10 years ago when I brought my ex-gf from Thailand over. It was quite smooth as I came with her and answered aa few questions on her behalf. Also at that time, I was working for gahmen. Maybe that is why it was easier.

Judging from the many posts here, it looks like getting our vb over is going to be uncertain and difficult. If a vb is caught by mata, will there be any record in her passport? Would we know if there is any black mark on her record? A vb once told me she was 'caught' and she showed me a letter asking her to report but I didn't see any offense stated in the letter.

Btw, off topic a bit, is it better to change S$ to dong here at a money changer or at the airport (sin or vn)?
