You're not far off with the $300 minimum.
In Sydney, I've generally paid $200 for an outcall. However, all except for one have been absolute crap. At that price, I've generally had overweight women, in their late 30s I'm guessing, so that has been a real turn-off. Only 1 girl that I paid $200 for was half decent - she was Chinese from KL - and even let me CIM (twice).

The worst bit is when you make your bookings based on photographs on one of these company's websites, and then the girl who turns up looks nothing like her. It really is just false advertising. The problem is, they are already in your hotel room by that stage, or if not, at your hotel room door - and I can do without an arguement at 10pm with a hooker that I've booked but now don;t want to pay for (even if they are the one being deceitful). Sometimes the driver accompanies that girl to the door, and you end up paying them first - so it's the sort of situation where you just pay the money and hope you get some sense of enjoyment out of the hour.

It is certainly very hit and miss.

As for why I prefer outcalls - well, I'm generally in these cities (Melb or Sydney) for 1 or 2 nights, and don't have a lot of time to be walking around the city at night searching for one of these joints that would appeal to most on this thread. I would certainly like to do that, it would be cheaper, and you'd get to at least see the girl before choosing.

As you know, wandering around Australian cities by yourself late at night, isn't generally the safest thing to do, especially when you're not real familiar with where you're going.

I've also gotta say, I love the tension building up to when an outcall escort arrives at the hotel door. That is, what will she be like, how good will the service be, even when will she arrive? I love the nervousness associated with that situation.

As for angmoh women, you can get some fairly decent outcall escorts for around $500-600/hr. So a bit less than you've thought, but still way too expensive for my tastes. Especially when I compare it back to the Orchard Towers' days, where you could easily get a beautiful young Thai chick for Sing$200 the whole night.

And outcall in Melbourne is significantly worse than in Sydney; not many freelancers around as it is illegal for them to provide incall/run it from an apartment, can't make enough money just dong outranks to hotels/private residences.
