well i know this is not the correct thread for this topic...but what the heck! here it goes....
****************************** Shanghai KTV experience Supplier brought me and my colleague to this very grant looking KTV on Sunday night. Basically right after our arrival and dinner. As my supplier was driving a BMW 7 series, we were greeted warmly at the entrance by a captain and a bunch of others guys. I thought this KTV was in JB leh until I read the last part on spending RMB 12K then realized it was actually in Shanghai and not in Skudai
Anyway, good write-up and made excited too

********************************************** "MP" in Shanghai first of call, to call it a MP is a huge understatement! it is no way looking similar with the MP we used to know in M'sia! this one in Shanghai is huge!! it happen on the last night in Shanghai. i told my supplier we will take care of ourself that night so he does not need to accompany us. after a quick dinner with my colleague in the hotel, i told my colleague that i would like to go walk-walk myself and i practically dropping clear hint to him that i do not want him to follow! being his senior, i think he got no choice but to do as what i said! before today, i already saw quite a few 'MP" in that area, but i have not make up my mind which one to visit! so i just stroll around our hotel area and look see look see lah. then i came across this "Golden Palace recreation center"...as i already walked for more than 30min in the cold, i decided to walk in. surprisingly it was rather quiet, a guy walked up to me and offer his help. i asked what service do they have, and boy, they have all sort of services!! foot bath (RMB 120), pedicure and medicure (RMB 260), body massage (RBM 220), facial massage (RMB 120), Turkey massage-i wonder what the hell that is (RMB 300), and all sort of other services like cutting hair, facial treatment, sauna, jaccuzi, swimming pool (indoor with warm water), crack bone, gua-sha, and hell lot more. i asked for recommendation, and this guy said why not try their "combo Emperor package", he said got good combination of few relaxing massage for 2 hours, RBM 450. i thought what the hell just try it!! then the rest is SOP lah like putting stuff in locker room, shower etc. after shower and putting on the nice bathing suit (those thick thick and "hairy-hairy" type, not those thin thin type we get in JB), i was in the changing room and wondering what should i do next!! i exit the changing room and pass by some sauna, jacuzzi and hot-cool pool, then come to a "resting area" where few guys are lying on a sofa bed. a female attendance greeted me and usher me to a sofa bed, like those people do sun bathing type!! serve me chinese tea and ask me to wait for a while. after a while, a captain came and ask me to follow him. he brought me to a room, with another sofa bed inside, and i was wondering, where is the massage bed? I reckon that those "turkey bath" sessions are actually "turkish baths" [In Japan it is known as TOROKO or Soapland Baths, while in LOS it is the same as the BODY MASSAGE with soap - ChaoPhraya type loh]
