Re: HIV screening info
To all bros here,
It's wif a heavy heart while i'm here typing this post. My gd buddy of almost 10yrs juz called me this noon. He told me the shocking news of his doc in NUH calling him n telling him that there r some probs wif his HIV blood test. Told him that he has a reduced no. of white blood cell count. The doc told him to go to the hospital tml noon to see him. At first i thought, this fucker is trying to siao kian me, but after +++ing to him n hearing what he said i was shell shocked. He told me he has some of the early synthoms of HIV i.e yeast infection in the mouth, rashes on the body n even extreme exhaustion. I'll juz like to implore n serverly warn every single person here that HIV really does exist, dun go fuck around wif it. U might think, where got so 'heng' or 'suay' one, but when it strikes, u'll be feeling exactly what I'm feeling currently. The mixed emotions of a very gd fren n bro to me dying wif the thought of myself also might be infected makes my hair stand. Can't eat, sleep or do anything. Basically, I'm freaked out... To all, I dun care if I'm being cursed or abused or being even zapped to bits, but I seriously say, pls take care of ur health. If you r sick, not only u r affected, but also ur family n frens close to u. If u do want to cheong, pls take precaution. Think of ur future before anything else. It is here where I also wanna annouce that I'm giving up cheonging. I'm retiring from this battlefield. I'm now too scared to try at all. Dear all, pls spare a thought for ur future. Watching porn or pcc might lead pple to think u r a pervert, but it beats pple calling u a HIV positive, AIDS carrier or dead man. If u r like me, still young, give it up while u can. My fren is btw only 23. He is a person whose career n love life has juz taken of, but on news of this fucking thing, his world has come crashing down. Pls all, PLS PLS PLS! Think b4 u do anything. Raw is really War, but when HIV comes, u r juz another casutly. Imate signing off...

Re: HIV screening info
Let's be frank from what I know even people as young as 14 are contracting HIV thru RAWing.
Some people are so FUCKING UNEDUCATED they think as long as the women take PILLS TO PROTECT themselves, HIV is non-existent, RAW sex is fine. PLEASE. ALL THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT!!! SOME THAI TIRAKS SAY THEY PROTECT THEMSELVES BY MEDICATION, SOME INDON CHICKS DUN EVEN KNOW WAT A CONDOM IS!! SOME OKTS ESP OKTS FOR THAI CHICKS IN GL OFFER RAW AS AN INCENTIVE. AS LONG AS U FUCKING RAW ARD... BE PREPARED TO BE ANOTHER NUMBER IN THE HIV LIST IN SINGAPORE. Remember BIG HEAD over SMALL HEAD. So far I seen 4 cases of ppl testing positive @ AFA aynonmous testing in the 7 times I have been there to test. One of them is a Samster, another 2 were a young executive couple and the 3rd a middle age bizman pattern. So HIV is ard and crawling all over

Re: HIV screening info
Went down for the Anonymous Test this evening. Got a negative result! Thank God! Finally a stone of the mind. Now I can concentrate better with my life after all the distractions that I might catch HIV. Most likely I will go down for another test in Oct or Nov for a final confirmation hehehe.

Re: HIV screening info
First, Thanks to bro bongster for creating this thread and bro Big Sexy for providing useful information on the other sticky thread.
This is my first post and would like to add more details regarding AFA, especially for those cheongsters who are still struggling to make a decision to visit AFA. I will not elaborate on my risky adventure but will focus more on the AFA visit itself. Last month, after some heavy drinking sessions, I actually did RAW with a FL. OK that's all for this adventure and now move on to to emotional part. For the next few weeks, I am constantly worrying about this evil disease and could not concentrate on anything at all. I am moody and restless all the time and this is seriously affecting my work and my relationship will everyone I know. I have been reading bro bongster and bro Big Sexy's threads until, I unknowingly can memorise the DSC clinic address and even the working hours. After the seem like never ending wait of 1 month, I decided to pay a visit on last wednesday evening session. Mentally, I was prepared to go but upon arriving near the DSC clinic, I changed my mind as there were many people outside the clinic. Contractors, Bikers, Ah Pek and Ah Sohs. I turned back and went home straight. That night, I didn't sleep well. 3 days later, I make up my mind, "DIE DIE also must go in!". Yesterday afternoon, I make another attempt. This time round, it's worst! After arriving near the clinic, I realised that there's a 7th month celebrations nearby and there are even more people! I thought to myself, "Don't Care Liao! People want to stare, want to laugh for all they want! My health is more important!" And so, I walk straight to the entrance and push the door open and the rest is history! Will follow up with details inside the AFA clinic. |

Re: HIV screening info
And now for the details,
After entering the main entrance, there's a reception on the right and a foreign gentleman will politely ask you if you are here for anonymous testing and the cost is SGD 20.00. After paying 20 dollar, you will be given a questionaire attached on a receipt with a AFA serial no. No identification is required. During the entire screening, you will only be identified with the AFA serial no. The questionaire is a one page with about 8-9 questions and tick boxes, mainly ask about your race, age group, marital status, sexual preference, when was the last test?, is it with AFA? etc. After completing the questionaire (pencils are provided at the reception area), I returned the questionaire to the reception and the receptionist returned me the receipt (the one with a AFA serial no.) and ask me to wait for my number to be call. I sat near the reception area, and during this time, about 2 couples, and 3-4 men came in and did the same procedure. I can tell from their facial expression all of them are 1st visit just ilke me. At the same time, there are about 3-4 persons in front of me. This is what happened, each time a counsellor have finished with a person, they will go to the reception area to collect the questionaire you have filled and will call out your AFA number. It seems that most of the consellors are Foreigners or Ang Mohs. Finally, after waiting for abou 10 mins, my AFA no. is called out and I followed the Counsellor to a room (Room 6). This counsellor is a local chinese guy and is very polite and friendly. First he apologise to me about the longer waiting period due to weekend more visitors. He then proceed to explain about the AFA screening and ask a few questions about my sexual inclination and what makes me want to come to AFA. I told him nothing but the truth knowing I will get excited if I tried to lie about something and being found out. After about 10 mins, he asked me to wait outside Room 14. This time, it is about 5 mins of waiting time. I entered the room and another counsellor was preparing to take my blood samples. Before that, he asked me to confirm my AFA serial no. on the receipt is the same as the one on the questionaire. I confirmed they are the same. During this time, he changed to a new pair of disposable gloves and used a disposable needle kit (orange color) to take my blood sample. He asked for the non-master hand forth finger (ring finger). I present my left hand and he ask me to hold a cotton wool on the right hand. It is not painful at all. He pressed a few drops of bloods onto the test kit (a thin strip) and proceed to bandage my forth finger. Then he asked me to wait outside room 15. At this stage, I am beginning to get nervous as the test will require at least 15- 20 mins. During this time, I tried not to think about anything. Finally, my name is called and I follow the counsellor (the first one that interview me) to Room 15 for my results. He explained the results to me (1 strip is negative, 2 strips is positive). The results of my blood test is negative. Instantly, my mood swing 180 degrees and he also advise me to come for a more conclusive test 2 months later. I said "Thanks, Thanks, Thank you so much!" On the way out, I managed to smile a little bit and said to the receptionist "Thank you so much and see you in 2 months' time!". He responded "Thank You and Have a Nice Day!" |
