I notice i also have a red patch on the dick head since yesterday. It not at the shaft nor near to the penis opening. It's flat, no blister, not itchy, nothing at all. Just normal, but pinkish red patch of the size of a red bean. The last time i had a fling was 5 days back. Any bro here can give advise? |

Re: All you need to know about Genital Herpes
Should be "Any bro her can give ADVICE?".
"Advise" is a verb.

Re: All you need to know about Genital Herpes
unlikely but read on..
Herpes virus: 8 types Herpes virus: 8 types - Infection - C-Health The herpes family of viruses includes 8 different viruses that affect human beings. The viruses are known by numbers as human herpes virus 1 through 8 (HHV1 - HHV8). Human herpes virus 1 Human herpes virus 1 (HHV1) is also known as herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV1). It is typically the cause of cold sores around the mouth. HHV1 can also lead to infection in the genital area causing genital herpes usually through oral-genital contact, such as during oral sex. HHV1 infections are contagious and are usually spread from skin-to-skin contact with an infected person through small breaks in the skin or mucous membrane. The HHV1 virus is more likely to be spread through things like sharing eating utensils, razors, and towels from a person who has an active lesion. Human herpes virus 2 Human herpes virus 2 (HHV2) is also called herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV2). It typically causes genital herpes, a sexually transmitted infection. However, it can also cause cold sores in the facial area. Like HHV1, the HHV2 infection is contagious and is spread by skin-to-skin contact. The main route of transmission is through sexual contact, as the virus does not survive very long outside the body. Human herpes virus 3 Human herpes virus 3 (HHV3) is also called varicella-zoster virus. HHV3 causes chickenpox. It can also cause a recurrent virus infection of the skin, which is called herpes zoster or shingles. Shingles occurs when dormant varicella-zoster virus from an initial bout of chickenpox becomes reactivated. Like its close relative, HHV1, herpes zoster likes to infect skin cells and nerve cells. This virus may also recur along nerve fibre pathways, causing multiple sores where nerve fibres end on skin cells. Because an entire group of nerve cells is often affected, shingles is generally much more severe than a recurrence of herpes simplex. The lesions generally appear in a band-like or belt-like pattern occurring on one side of the body and are often accompanied by itching, tingling, or even severe pain. Healing usually occurs in 2 to 4 weeks, and scars may remain. Postherpetic neuralgia is a complication of shingles where the pain associated with the infection can persist for months and even years. Most people who experience shingles once do not experience it again. Human herpes virus 4 Human herpes virus 4 (HHV4) is also known as the Epstein-Barr virus. It is the major cause of infectious mononucleosis, or "mono" - the "kissing disease." It is a contagious infection and is transmitted through saliva. Coughing, sneezing, or sharing eating utensils with an infected person can pass the virus from one person to another. Human herpes virus 5 Human herpes virus 5 (HHV5) is the official name of cytomegalovirus (CMV). CMV is also a cause of mononucleosis. In people with healthy immune systems, the virus may not even cause any symptoms. It can be sexually transmitted, can cause problems to newborns, and can cause hepatitis. CMV can be transmitted through sexual contact, breast-feeding, blood transfusions, and organ transplants. CMV infection is one of the most difficult complications of AIDS. It may lead to diarrhea, severe vision problems including blindness, infections of the stomach and intestines, and even death. For a virus that barely causes a problem in most people with healthy immune systems, it can be amazingly nasty in people with damaged immune systems, such as people with AIDS. Human herpes virus 6 Human herpes virus 6 (HHV6) is a recently observed agent found in the blood cells of a few patients with a variety of diseases. It causes roseola (a viral disease causing high fever and a skin rash in small children) and a variety of other illnesses associated with fever in that age group. This infection accounts for many of the cases of convulsions associated with fever in infancy (febrile seizures). Human herpes virus 7 Human herpes virus 7 (HHV7) is even more recently observed and is closely related to HHV6. Like other human herpes viruses, HHV6 and HHV7 are so common that most of humankind has been infected at some point, usually early in life. HHV7 can also cause roseola, but it is not clear what other clinical effects that this virus causes. Human herpes virus 8 Human herpes virus 8 (HHV8) was recently discovered in the tumours called Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS). These tumours are found in people with AIDS and are otherwise very rare. KS forms purplish tumours in the skin and other tissues of some people with AIDS. It is very difficult to treat with medication. HHV8 may also cause other cancers, including certain lymphomas (lymph node cancers) associated with AIDS. The fact that these cancers are caused by a virus may explain why they tend to occur in people with AIDS when their immune systems begin to fail. The discovery also provides new hope that specific treatments for these tumours will be developed that target the virus. |

Re: All you need to know about Genital Herpes
Apparently GPs says that the sores appearing on the penis should be removed surgically by laser. Anyone tried that before?
Also, apparently there are vaccinations against Genital Herpes. Anyone tried that? |

Therefore you may not send your message to him/her. sorry mate.. but i dont really understand what you are asking????? are you asking if it is safe to have sex when one has HSV-1????? HSV-1 can spread even when symptoms aren’t present.... but the good news is it wont kill..... so it is really up to you... Quote:

My Story - a cautionary tale
I have been travelling through Singapore for many years and for the last two years I have been seeing a regular girl from one of the Health Clubs. We have developed a friendship and she usually visits me at my hotel and stays for a few hours. We have always had protected sex using a condom but have both engaged in "oral" as part of foreplay.
I was recently on holidays with my family and my wife asked me what that mark was on my face. I had developed a cold sore about the size of a 20 cent piece on the side of my mouth. Shocked, I mumbled that I didn't know what it was (but of course it was pretty obvious to me). I had no itching, soreness or pain and was completely unaware it was there. Needless to say the holiday for me was ruined and although my children didn't say anything I am pretty sure they have figured out the situation (one goes to college in the US and the other is studying medicine). Not only do I feel I have risked my marriage of 25 years, damaged the respect my children have for me but I am of course now worried that I will pass it on to my wife. I have put everything at risk by my own stupidity and recklessness. Additionally, I am worried about having an incurable disease with such public symptoms. Amazingly my wife has hardly said anything and our relationship seems to be good at the moment. She suggested maybe it was just a patch of dry skin on my mouth. We make love infrequently these days so I have some time to figure out what to do and say (or not). It really worries me that I am able to pass on the virus even though I may have no symptoms. I feel like an ass**** and the nicer she is the worse I feel. I have bought Zovirax but as I have had the sore for about 10 days it is probably too late to treat it as it is starting to clear up now? I also have some cold sore cream containing camphor and menthol. Hoping this will speed the healing process. I know the girl who infected me and which HC she works in. I briefly thought about naming her but in the end she is much a victim as I am and we all know the risks in sleeping with these girls. Obviously she is not the only working girl with the virus and I feel it would be unfair to single her out. My advice - if you need relief do it yourself or just get the girl to give you a handjob. Don't end up the way I have risking everything for a few moments of excitement. Don't let this happen to you. |

Re: All you need to know about Genital Herpes
Hi bro big sexy
I have a small red bump like rash some where below my dickhead. It was painless, non itchy and is not blister like, no bubble, just a red bump. Could it be herpes? I remember i had one about a year ago and went to DCS, doctor give me a cream call Dermasone, say it's just normal, not related to STD. Went to DSC today again, the doctor say it don't look like herpes but better be safe to have a test. Some question here, if one caught up with herpes, can we have raw sex with wife if there is no outbreak and his wife won't get infected. Is the outbreak refering to when the symptoms like the blister occur. So when there is no blister or sores, mean it is safe? Or if not, doesn't it mean that one with herpes will not be able to have any raw sex or bbbj with wife anymore and this really sound crazy. Can you advice on this? Also, for herpes, is it comfirm that there will be blister, bubble like spot? If no, mean chances for herpes is small? I had got unprotected sex with 2 difference girl within the last 2 week, both are my friend and we have know for quite long. Start to get worry now. |

Re: All you need to know about Genital Herpes
1. having herpes is not the end of the world.. You can still have raw sex with the wife when there is no outbreak... if there is an outbreak... protected sex will not help in anyway... she will still most likely get it...
2. yes...99% of the time... there will be soreness and/or blisters.. |
