Next time go to the $$ changers after Shell stations, You can get better rates there. Most of the time better than SG if u change >$100.

Changed SGD2k yesterday at money changer opp Tmn Sentosa Perdasia KTV. S$1 = RM2.43 . Opening bid already give me 242.8 This is the best in JB liao

According to the Market rate, at 1:15pm, Xe.com website 1.00 SGD = 2.45327 MYR
In Bukit Indah, JB
Most of the Money Changer display the converter rate at 2.40
when you ask for the actual, they will type on their calculator 2.42 and show you.
but when you ask, you intend to change more than 2K,
may be they will give you 2.422 or 2.423, it depend on them.
anyway, I heard my friend told me, Money changer in Tun aminah, JB, can get the higher rate. hehe...
