Hi bro, all these years travelling to Jpn i still cannot differentiate a business hotel from a "normal" hotel from their booking site lol.
But i am guessing the hotel I stayed at was a typical 3-star hotel in Ueno, room size was 20sqm (bigger than most business/chain hotels), was about $220 (with breakfast) per night.

I think it doesn't matter which hotels business or not if you room can accommodate at least 2 persons. But the downside is you'll probably have to fetch the girls from lobby since these hotels often need keycard to use the lift.

Re your question - if you do outcall, basically the girls will come to where you are at. But they will do these "authentication" calls to verify if you had indeed booked/checked into this room. In my case, the agency called the hotel operator who then diverted the call directly to my room. I assumed the agency probably used some business reasons to call me. Btw delivery health in Japan is perfectly legal but you probably need to give and take 3-4 hours in advance for booking. All photos shared via messaging app are mosaic'd.

If you do incall, you have to visit the shop physically in person first. there, you can view photos un-mosaic'd, pay etc. The shop will typically recommend you some love hotels nearby within walking distance. Then the girl will come down and accompany you to the hotel and help y ou with the check in (you have to pay) OR you have to make your way to the love hotel first, the shop will call your love hotel room then the girl will come shortly after within 15mins.

My upcoming trip i have booked a 4-star hotel next to Shinjuku station. close to $320 per night with breakfast. Pricey yes but i thought its the easiest way to chiong. If you are interested in twitter JPMM FLs, typically they operate within the area of Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Ueno but with Shinjuku the most. i.e., they are only willing to meet and F if the location is in Shinjuku. Likewise, outcalls in shinjuku typically will be cheaper/FOC becoz its the area where the shops operate in. Outside of shinjuku typically require extra fees, e.g., Ueno where i stayed at require 3000Y extra tpt fee.

no real way to differentiate hotels but business hotels are usually the cheaper and still decent ones. it can also be in good locations too but mostly with no other facilities (usually have self service laundry + small pantry of vending machines). Some more expensive business hotel do have facilities such as a bathhouse / hot spring house.
so my plan is to book and stay in business hotels, which cost about $70 - $150 a night depending on brand and location. Much lower than what you stayed in.

Bro - depends what you meant by "delivery". You mean the girls coming up directly to your room? i think most hotels typically have no problems with that. But if you are staying in those traveller's inn kind of lodging most likely the girls will be stopped at the recep. If you want to play safe - just tell the operator you'll like to meet and fetch the girls directly at the lobby instead/or outside your hotel whichever you prefer. If you r accompanying the girl typically the recep will not say anything - i mean almost every other day i went to the lobby and brought different girls to my room lol even the recep also bo chup.

But just a word of advice - my personal take... if your room is less than 20sqm.. i think don't do outcall. becoz the space is very limited for walking and most time can only 1 person stand there at a time. If include your luggage, bags etc lagi jialat.
