While attending CNY gatherings tcss I found out from a PID insider that our database is shared with Malaysia & Thailand.... that means if the authorities in LOS or Bolehland conduct a screening on you in their country...... they can see your CRO60 records and vice versa. Apparently this has oredi been in place for quite some time..... and there are plans to extend this cooperation to more ASEAN countries...... with the next country coming onboard the project is Vietnam.

Just to ask experienced brothers here.
I've gotten married recently and applied for LTVP based on my wife being pregnant currently.

First time applying. Just gotten reply from ICA saying her extension for short term visit pass has gotten approved. What i've noticed is that in the email itself, i have noticed that there's a FIN number being tagged along in the application case.

Does it mean that it's a high chance for LTVP to be approved already?

Yes ... U can look forward to ur ltvp letter soon.

The letter u received will be in-principle approval , not straight away approved. Once received , you still need to book appointment to complete the documents formalities , then if all ok then can collect LTVP card, that's that's consider approved. For now, it's only approved in-principle.

If ur ltvp is 1 year , u can try to apply for PR.... If it's 3 yrs... Wait til it 'matures' like 2 yrs then u apply... No have to rush.. FYI ... Submission of application for PR, the queue now is at least 1 year to book your appointment date to submit the application.
