Flasher leaves 'souvenir' for victims JOHOR BARU : Residents in a housing area here are living in fear of a flasher who not only performed lewd acts in front of women and children but also left behind a "souvenir" for them. Housewife Angel Pai, 30, said she got a shock when she heard her nine-year-old daughter screaming about 8pm on Thursday. Her daughter was feeding several dogs in their backyard at the time. "I was in the living room and my daughter ran to me and told me that she saw a naked man touching his genitals at the gate in the backyard. "The man had run off by the time I went outside. However, I found some slimy substance resembling semen at the gate," said a disgusted Pai, who reported the matter to the police. Another resident, identified as Carolyn, said she saw a naked man in his 20s holding his genitals behind her kitchen two weeks ago. "I sensed someone was looking at me when I was preparing dinner. When I looked out the window, I saw a man running away while clutching his clothes," she said. Residents in the Permas Jaya area are now worried that the flasher would become bolder if he is not caught soon. MCA Permas Jaya branch chief Tan Bee Lian urged police to step up patrols in the area. She said there was a need to erect perimeter fencing in the housing estate as a crime prevention measure but the idea apparently was not well received by the local authorities. "Perimeter fencing works well in many housing estates in other states to prevent burglary and thefts. I hope our local authorities will consider it for security’s sake," she said. The victims also brought their complaints to the attention of Johor MCA Public Complaints Bureau deputy chairman Rodney Soon. Soon said the culprit should be caught before he becomes more aggressive. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork

Facelift for JB under waterfront project JOHOR BARU : A vibrant, exciting and colourful city offering cultural, musical and other entertainment shows, with world-class venues and facilities. Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said this is what Johor Baru would be when the integrated waterfront project under the Iskandar Regional Development plan is completed in the next five years. The city will have venues to host world-class shows and performances by big names in the world of entertainment. A calendar of events is already being drawn up in association with internationally renowned event managers and promoters, who will aggressively market them to draw audiences from all over the region, said Ghani. "Currently, every time there is an extended weekend public holiday, there is an exodus of people from Johor Baru to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong or other cities because there is nothing to do here. "But this will be a thing of the past when the planned integrated waterfront developments in Iskandar come up, in the next three to five years, Ghani said when launching the annual Chap Goh Meh celebrations at Danga Bay. Also present were MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting and Johor MCA chief Datuk Dr Chua Soi Lek. The event was organised by the state government in association with MCA, the Johor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by the newly established Iskandar Regional Development Authority. More than 20,000 people thronged Danga Bay for the celebration of the 15th day of the Lunar New Year. The festivities started with a performance by the six-member girl group, Ironic Band, followed by a 40- minute show by the Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe. Other top local Chinese entertainers, included Huang Yi Fei, Chew Sin Hueu and rising singing sensation Nicholas Teo. The public was entertained by lion dance troupes, stilt-walkers, Chinese drummers, performers dressed in costumes of Chinese deities, including the God of Prosperity, Bhangra and Zapin dancers and artistes from the Royal London Circus. "We have given the event a touch of multi-ethnicity with Malay, Indian and other musical and dance performances to make it a truly Malaysian celebration," Ghani said. The VIPs later took part in the tossing of yee sang — the traditional raw fish salad served during Chinese New Year for abundance, prosperity and vigour in the coming year. The highlight of the celebrations was a 10-minute fireworks display. Under the Iskandar, the entire five-kilometre stretch of the Johor Baru waterfront is to be developed into a new urban centre featuring upmarket hotels, an exhibition and convention centre, high-rise commercial offices, upmarket condominiums and open spaces for stage shows and entertainment. It is expected to draw investors from around the world, especially the Middle East and Singapore. Danga Bay is the front-runner of this multi-billion ringgit development. About RM500 million has been spent since 2000 to bring life to this part of town. It is now the scene of cultural and entertainment shows on weekends. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork

Laporan daripada Harian Metro bertarikh Isnin 5hb Mac 2007 :- Bertuala ketika diurut wanita JOHOR BAHRU : Keseronokan ketika diurut seorang wanita, menyebabkan seorang lelaki yang hanya bertuala tidak sedar sepasukan penguat kuasa Jabatan Agama Johor (JAJ) membuat serbuan di sebuah rumah urut tradisional, di Taman Bestari 2, di sini, kelmarin. Dalam operasi bersepadu bermula jam 4 petang itu, lelaki terbabit yang keasyikan hanya terdiam apabila ditegur, sebelum memakai pakaian ketika pemeriksaan dilakukan. Selain itu, rumah urut berkenaan dikatakan menggunakan gadis tempatan yang dibawa khas dari kawasan luar bandar dengan menawarkan gaji kira-kira RM900 sebulan. Ketua Penolong Pengarah Penguat Kuasa JAJ, Yosree Ikhsan, berkata operasi bersepadu membabitkan polis, Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB), Majlis Perbandaran Johor Bahru Tengah (MPJBT) dan Jabatan Imigresen itu memeriksa dua rumah urut tradisional di sekitar bandar raya ini. “Serbuan dan pemeriksaan dibuat selepas kami menerima aduan orang ramai dan hasil siasatan, kami menahan lima wanita dan seorang lelaki yang juga pemilik salah sebuah premis itu bagi membantu siasatan. “Hasil pemeriksaan awal, kami dapati dua wanita itu warga tempatan manakala tiga wanita lain warga Indonesia yang menyalahgunakan pas lawatan sosial. “Buat masa ini, kami menyiasat semua wanita dan lelaki berusia antara awal 20-an hingga 40-an itu, sebelum menyerahkan wanita Indonesia dan majikan berkenaan kepada Jabatan Imigresen,” katanya. Menurutnya, buat masa ini mereka menyiasat kes berkenaan mengikut Seksyen 27 Enakmen Kesalahan Syariah 1997 kerana berkhalwat dan jika sabit kesalahan seseorang itu boleh dikenakan denda RM3,000 atau dua tahun penjara atau kedua-duanya sekali. Bagaimanapun, katanya siasatan juga akan menjurus sama ada premis itu dijadikan pusat pelacuran atau tidak. “Selepas siasatan, kami akan menyerahkan wanita Indonesia dan majikan tempatan itu kepada Jabatan Imigresen kerana menyalahgunakan pas lawatan, selain menggaji pekerja asing tanpa permit sah,” katanya. Difahamkan, semua wanita tempatan itu dibayar RM900 sebulan sebagai tukang urut, tidak kira lelaki atau wanita bermula jam 12 tengah hari hingga 10.30 malam, sebelum tidur di tempat yang disediakan di situ. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork

confirmed RAINBOW ONE was raided !!!
3 indonesian girls and 17 was caught ! Then 17 was released later after bail. But the place have been raided 4 times liou So cheonging friends pls beware. But however quality there is bad including Miki as well as the captain Jimmy's attitude. So i think better update with others MP liou....Cheers !
