Rumours ...wow..really lao beng ..born in 72, 73 , 74 ,75, or even 76 generation gap. Rumours is the one located at orchard scotts ...all wear high cut reebok shoes, brooks, new balance shoes..with sharp comb. hairstyle perm and dye and cut layer like malaysians in those days.. my time was flows with designer brand like MCM , MOSCHINO, DKNY, JEAN PAUL GUALTIER, HOTSPOTS , fire disco, octagon at kallang airport.. born in 76, 77, 78, 79 80, or maybe 81 generation gap. Those born in 82 and above seldom get the feel of those heydays..

My evolution of cheong days:
Rumours , Paramount (skating), Warehouse -> scandal, music world (katong), Fire (teadance & Nightdisc), Ridleys( ANA) , Zappa (Boat Quay era), Canto, Zouk (Original Mambo Jambo where you can buy advance tickets, no queue before drug bust era) Holland V "Chaplins", Madam Wong, Wong San, Taijie, acid room, Double O, Orange, -> Phuture, St James ... sadly though I have been to Sparks but never really like that place. money aside, I spent over 2 decades of clubbing... had my fair share of fun...

Nobody mentioned the sarong girls and marina kids?? Boy London tee shirt, Neckerman sandals, New Balance "James Worthy" high cut shoes...... Polo shirts tucked in and pulled almost all out, and left a bit still tucked in the tight "steamer" jeans......all these before MCM etc..... Go Queensway Man Master to buy colorful pants Go mama shop buy our favorite 20 cent per stick Man Always Respect Ladies Because Of Romance Only (Marlboro) or 杀人(Salem) Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Aha, Vanilla Ice (ice baby) and then the lip syncing Milli Vanilli..... OMG! THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!
