Why not? We have reached the stage of the season where teams are either still fighting for something like relegation or European places or are planning for their holidays. I rather Man City continue to face teams fighting for something. I watched Newcastle against Man U the other night. I think the Newcastle players are on holiday mood already.

Their remaining opponents are either fighting against relegation or fighting for European places like Everton. I think those relegation teams will pack the bus at Etihad Stadium.
shut down Yaya Toure and we will shut down Man City...he is the key dynamo for the team...if we noticed when he play well then MC played well...think BR will come up with a game plan...I admired BR for making the key change at half time substitute Lucas for Coutinho, last nite against West Ham...then we controlled the midfield better and deserved our win...if the West Ham goal was disallowed then we should win comfortably...but is one of those game where luck is key...the fengshui for Liverpool is shining brightly...go on Reds...

Just want to comment that Andy Carroll dun fit BR plan and playing AC means pumping long high balls to him which we can see how West Ham play...one dimensional and whole nite he won less than 10 headers...and Stewart Downing crosses to only AC in the box...

So SG is cleared off his yellow cards?

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has told the Guardian that captain Steven Gerrard is “clever enough” to avoid the booking that would bring him a two-match ban at a vital stage of the season.

Gerrard is set to face Sunderland at Anfield on Wednesday in the knowledge that he could miss a chunk of his boyhood club’s challenge for their first league title since 1990 if he makes a disciplinary slip.

The midfielder, 33, picked up his ninth yellow card of the season during Saturday’s 6-3 Premier League victory over Cardiff.

If he picks up a 10th booking either on or before April 13, he will automatically incur a two-game suspension.

Not yet. His next yellow card cannot come before the 14th April. This means he must not get a yellow card against Man City.

I agree. Many fans usually count out smaller teams. You cannot do that. In football, anything is possible.

No doubt Yaya Toure is very important to City, but don't forget Silva, Nasri, Navas etc.

Good to see Lucas back in the team and on form. Think Brendan Rodgers will have to play the diamond with Lucas starting at the expense of Coutinho against City, to try and keep possession in midfield.

Also need to protect 'Red Cafu' Flanagan, as I suspect Pellegrini shall target the left side which has looked more vulnerable all season.

Must say I am enjoying the build up to this massive fixture, even at this very early stage!

yup yup...not too worried about Silva, Nasri and Navas...sure BR will find methods to neutralise them...think MP will have worries about Pool players...think he will have more problem trying to contain our strikers and control midfied...hopefully Vincent Kompany is not playing or being sent off for bookable offence...then Pool should have easier game...dun forget our 12th man which is the Anfield crowd...revenge for last defeat and winner should go on to win the BPL title...

Will open contest to predict on Thursday...watch out folks...

Gerard is still on 9 yellow cards. Hopefully he can last till the end of Pool games.

As for Everton they are now challenging for 4th spot now. Man City won't have it easy with Everton.

My concern was matches against West Ham and Crystal Palace. Now, Liverpool has to be wary of Norwich too. A Change in management brings new level of confidence and positive atmosphere in the dressing room among other good vibes.

Luis Suarez stopped to play football with a boy with down syndrome in the park after spotting his Liverpool ball

A brilliant picture and has been uploaded onto the Liverpool Reddit page which paints Luis Suarez in a positive light.

The day after the Reds forward helped his side return to the top of the Premier League after a 2-1 win away at West Ham, Liverpool’s star centre-forward has been picture in a park with a young boy with down syndrome.

According to the information provided, Suarez was out in a park when he spotted a 7-year-old boy playing football with a Liverpool ball.

On noticing the young boy playing with his dad, Suarez stopped to introduce himself to the little boy and to take a photo with him

It's always tricky to play a team that just have a change in management. Norwich has a nightmare fixture list for their remaining games and their only hope of getting points is from their home game. So yeah, we can bet on them to give it their all for this game to ensure survival.

I'm not sure if presently there is an ideal replacement for Flanagan.

With Manchester City due to visit Liverpool this week, it worries me. Navas or Nasir will get pass him like a wind.
