Depends on which competition Arsene Wenger gives priority to.... I think he will concentrate on the BPL and the FA Cup rather than the CL so it will be tough matches for Man U & Liverpool.

The post match interview, SG said he passed the responsibility to Sturridge to take the penalty. Very nice of the captain who obviously hoped the striker would get his hat-trick. Too bad he skied his shot.

The only sore point of the match was the unhappiness in the SaS partnership. Sturridge was too selfish on a couple of occasions which had Suarez fuming. Eventually Sturridge was subbed which he reacted in anger. Hopefully the partnership will improve and it'll be nice to see both of them finish Top 2 in the goalscoring chart end season.

Feeling so sleepy now, 4 am matches are a killer when you are getting older. We were helped by Everton's injury problems. They are asking for trouble by playing a high defensive line when their central defenders are so slow. Good to see Flanagan back. Kelly and Alberto did fine when they came on too.

Everton was actually matching us until Lukaku's injury. After that, they have no focus in attack and our central defenders have a better time. 4-0 up, I was hoping for a bigger scoreline.

Hoping for draws tonight. Then Man City and Spurs will both drop 2 points.

Liverpool are in negotiations with Ukrainian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and are confident of completing the signing of winger Yevhen Konoplyanka by Friday, before the end of the January transfer window.

Konoplyanka, 24, is a Ukraine international who can play on either wing as well as through the middle. He scored against England in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at Wembley in September 2012.

Brendan Rodgers has labelled Konoplyanka, if signed, "a major signing", and a player who could bolster his squad for the second half of the season.
