That system would not work with Brendan as the manager..... his character is such that he always wants to have the final say where the team is concerned.

Liverpool has made it's 1st bid in the transfer market..... 3.5 million for Sporting Lisbon's 20 yo Thiago Ilori..... he is a GIANT at 6 ft 3 and solidly built...... but... but .... he is a striker who was converted to play in central defence only this year....... and Liverpool are buying him as a replacement for JC?

So what is the issue? He's young enough to be converted to a central defender. You got to remember the 20 year old JC isn't even a central defender yet.

I think among our ex-players, Sami is the most successful manager who is currently managing a side. If he continues to do well, I think he might just come back as a manager if Brendan Rodgers were to leave one day.

Now that Andy Carroll is recalled back to the England squad, I hope this means we can sell him for more money.

i missed the days of Sammy Hyypia - Stephen Henchoz. Arguably one of the best defence partnership in EPL and Liverpool history.

yes, it would have been a super goal ... possibly goal of the week! Alas, the footballing gods did not want to give Carra the perfect send-off!

but still, it was good to round off Carra's career n Pool's season with a home win!
