I think I have to agree with bro rahl on this. Momo is already part of the first team. I don't see other managers loaning out their first team players? He is not idling around. He does his best and is committed even though he does not produce the same passing quality as some of the other lads.

The league may treat the players like pawns but doesn't mean the players does not have feelings. In my own humble opinion, I think it will be too sudden to just loan him out like that? Hopefully, the addition of Mascherano will pressure and push him on to greater heights

bro exciter101, i have to agree with bro rahl and bro picu about loaning out sissoko, not that they r nice to me hor. sissoko is already in the first team or on the bench of liverpool. the best part is that although he aspires to be the next vieira, he didnt inherit the french "whine". so play or dont play, he would be better off beside rafa, cos rafa seems to want to keep him by his side. the arrival of mascherano will no doubt add pressure to him, but competition for places in the team would only present a most welcomed headache for the manager. just my personal views though, cheers.

I remember him playing a through ball to Owen once, but anyway, who can't?

Memory does strange things to people. Hamann individually was a great player but he played in a side that was really dull at times. How much he can contribute to the present team, who can say? I can only say, move on from Hamann

luck is one thing, belief is another. somehow feel liverpool is still short on belief, even though they won the champs league. i guess somehow they felt they were lucky to do so. all i can say is better errr... luck next time.

relax bro rahl, bro exciter101 is a fellow liverpool fan, i hope. central midfield players r more prone to injury so it would be good to have cover. some players should BE loaned out due to very, very limited playing time, like scott carson. he is doing damn well at charlton, given that kind of defence, should be called into action a lot. moreover, keepers r less prone to injury mah. but sissoko will get his share of playing time at liverpool, so there is no need to loan him out.

Aye wat u metioned. But losing possession comes in 2 way.

Momo is good at some close control. So player difficult to rob him off.
Yet Momo has tendencies to choose a lot of wrong options to distribute the ball out. And hence lies the part he loses the possessions. If u dun distribute well, the easiest any commentator can say is "He gives away possession cheaply".

yes bro, you want to look good then better drink with me before spurs win the uefa cup. as for liverpool winning the league title, i think gerrard owes it to the fans so he has to win it before retirement.

sissoko is a short or simple passer, as far as i watched him play. for the sake of argument, it is also important for other players to run to space in order to work the distributions.

drink with u? saw in one of the threads that u cant make it this week leh... hope it is nothing serious. uefa cup? oh, tottenham vs sevilla over 2 legs. should be nice. 2 high scoring teams, attractive attacking flair and as i have pointed out before, even the 2 goalies r goal threats lor

dont think gerrard owes the fans the premiership lah. he is one of the players who showed a lot of heart and determination. u see lah, make me feel bad for saying that he kelonged when he got sent off after 18 minutes in the game against everton!!! (he was a boyhood evertonian)

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Its all about pros and cons with Momo. and what sacrifices you are prepared to make to gain in other areas.

His workrate is immense. Much more, I suspect, than any of the other players. His distribution, and creative ability and awareness however, is a long way below that of our other midfielders.

As Rafa likes to control the opposition I think he is chosen simply to do this. The only negative I see with it is that with Momo in doing all the spoiling work, along with Xabi, it should be the perfect foil to allow Stevie to be a bit more headstrong and afford him to be less restricted. This, for me anyway, hasn't happened. Stevie is still expected to be a lot more disciplined than he ever was before, and unfortunately this takes away an awful lot from his game.

When Momo arrived and was such an instant hit I thought it would be the catalyst to let SG do what he does best, releasing him from shackles. unfortunately this hasn't happened. Thats not a critisism by the way, just the way I see things.

The question that needs adressing really is the fact that Momo adds nothing to us creatively outweighed by the fact that he can effectively stop an opponents midfield from being creative. A hard one to call. And a problem that I can see Mascherano having a big impact on. Rafa likes to use the counter attack and unfortunately momo isnt suited to expansive, quick, accurate, free flowing football.

Can he get better? Well realistically the more you practice the better you get. A long stint of 5 a sides would do the lad no harm in progressing his basic passing, awareness and decision making imho

At present he has the attributes and the ability to be a great midfield breaker upper. He's found ways to break up play without threatening to break legs and, to me, that shows he's learned some composure in his defensive game. Now, if he could just cultivate some composure on the ball, we'd have a heck of a player on our hands

nothing serious bro, just need to jaga kids due to "manpower" shortage at home this week. sevilla has 2 awesome strikers now - kanoute and kerzhakov. my hope is that sevilla take it easy since they won it last season. oh yeah sevilla's no.1 palop scored a header goal against ukraine's shakhtar. so the spotlight will be on both keepers now.
