Re: Bangkok Field Report

Macau: are you interested in Sauna or pick-up?
Sauna are going to cost you; eg. HK$1200 to 1800/2000. The most famous sauna is in Golden Dragon Hotel across Sands. Variety of "gers" but mostly PRC.

Darling sauna at China City behind New Yaohan offers more Thais and Viets. About 1600 as i last recall.

Pick-up from Disco usually starts after 2 or 3am (as the gers get off sauna for side money), u can check out D2 at AIA tower, D3 at Fisherman's Wharf, MP3 at Macau "Lan Kwai Fong" or even MP4 at Royal Hotel.

D2 has mix of Russia, Thai and Viet but less FL now. D3 is most Thai and Mongolia. MP3 has filipino FL sitting around but not my type; and MP4 is mostly Russian. Price usually starts from HK$100 now and LT/ST depends on negotiation.

Wished i could share some FR on ZH and other area of China but no big fan of PRC so not bothered to remember. sorry.

HCMC:
I usually take-out from KTV especially from "Catwalk" beside New World Hotel and there is another joint under the same owner but can't recall name. LT is now US$200 and ST is US$150 (3 years ago was only $100 for LT ... geez).

There are couple of pick-up disco where girls would range from $80 and above but i can't recall the name. But if you want to see "decent" quality girls, check out Volcano disco. Can pick-up? depends on how sweet your mouth is Actually most disco have FL roaming around, just keep your eyes "wide" open.

But be sure to stay at "ger" friendly hotel as 3 stars and above would not allow "ger" to enter to your room if not checked-in together. So best is to stay at motel and some will charge $10 for extra guest.

Anything else PM me.

BTW, u going Tokyo in Feb? Was planning a return trip (first trip was with my gf so cannot "cheong") as the gers there DAMN tempting man ... Make sure to check Shinjuku and Shibuya for action BUT have loads of cash. Just standing in a women's shopping mall in Shibuya 107 or 109 will bleed u to death. 7 to 10 floors of WOMEN shopping only ... check out all the baby dolls. I might join if u can confirm dates.

Re: Bangkok Field Report

Hi evo7ct9a,

I was pulling your leg when I asked you about Macau and HCMC. I know most of the info. you posted. I have to say thumbs up for the summary. Seems like you're a well travelled person.

Ok you're such a nice guy I'll try to suggest some places for pickups in BKK.

Nana Plaza Agogo Bars (Sukhumvit Soi 4) Expensive
Soi Cowboy Agogo Bars (Sukhumvit Soi Asoke) Moderate
CM2 Disco (Siam Novotel Hotel) Expensive
Tunnel (Lang Suan Soi 3?)
Thermae Cafe (Sukhumvit)

What about MPs? Those in Ratchada should do just fine. Average price is THB2000.

I shall let the rest of the BKK regulars to fill in what I've missed out.

Yes I've been to Shibuya 107 and 109 mall. Those Jap Ah Lians beat all the PRC, Thai and Viet girls anytime. Haha. I literally had nose bleed everyday when I was in Tokyo throughout the winter. Don't know is it because of the cold weather or seow chong nao? Haha.

Please PM me to have a joint assault to Tokyo. My last trip was April 2008. Being to Tokyo for three times in 2008. I miss the Shibuya girls and Gentlemen's Club aka strip clubs.

Ok catching my flight to China soon. Might not be able to surf the forum this week. Enjoy your BKK trip!

Plan to stay away from Soi Cowboy as i have been there during my last trip.

Now planning my trip properly since only can cheong 12 to 14; then 14 to 16 really TFK. Will first hit the MPs after check-in Missing Emanuelle and Poseidon already.

As for Tokyo, did you pass by those KTVs? I was so tempted to send my gf back to hotel then back to KTV but freaking cabs after midnight is madness. But seriously, i still think the girls in Osaka are much "hotter" than Tokyo; especially in HEP mall where its like 107 and 109.

Used to shuttle Macau and Manila frequently till i got tied down. Another place i miss most is JKT especially chinese-indon. Couple of greats bro from SBF i met there; trying to plan a re-visit within next couple of months but too many places to go ....

Thanks.

I will be staying at Grand Hotel, any idea if the hotel is "ger" friendly?
You had direction pointers form fellow frequent flyer, Tony Stark.

Grand Hotel's a big hotel (conveniently opp infamous pussydon... ooops poseidon) but not gal friendly from my experience few years back. Book double, at worse register your gal.. or do a runner or grease security's palm

Not sure if car hire is worth your while, unless you are on business.. logistics of in between meetings/appointments etc. Taxis are still easiest commute (but gear yourself for being immobilised in bad traffic esp peak hours).

Enjoy, after 3 years sabbatical from LOS

Pardon my ignorance but are these places near Ratchadadispek? Was thinking of hiring a car with driver during my stay as i have a friend with me but not too familiar with BKK; any good recommendation for car/driver rental (english)?

Also i didn't notice any bros talking about disco, i am sure there are some happening disco where should be able to pick-up also right?

Sorry for so many questions but thanks in advance.

If u need info on Macau, Manila, Seoul and HCMC, do let me know.

Cheers!
Bro, imho, try not to hire a driver or hire a taxi unless the place u like to go is way off any BTS or MRTA line. The reason is that some massage joints will pay a commission to the driver. The cost will pass it to u.
Most of the happening places are located just a short walking distance from the both lines. To familarise with the places u which to go, logged on to sawadee.com, they have a very comprehensive interactive map. For a brief write up/introduction on happening places logged on to bangkok2night, mind u some of the info is out of date. still the best info comes from bros here but u have go thru it page by page.
Have a nice trip and not forget to post Fr.
Cheers, happy bonking.

2. Tarawadee Resort & Spa ( another MP)
3. Bacarra (Like Nana Plaze agogo bar)
4. Nataree (More SYT compare to Emmulle and Poseidon when we were there a 2 weeks ago)
5. The Tunnel (Luang Suan Soi 3) (like CM2 concept ~ disco sort of)
Thermea this is a place that you should not miss, due to the tight scheldule we call it a pass during our trip...)

!
if you are not into the usual bkk fare ie soi cowboy, patpong or nana,
i suggest you could try G-clubs like carribean, but bear in mind you may go back empty handed. You could possibly hit tunnel or lucky after that though.
Another place i heard is good is calefare which is near carribean where many gals go to after their work. Alternatively, you could try scratch dog at windsor hotel, sukhumvit soi 20. A good place with many puyings and its very squeezy.

There are other good discos like JET, CURVE or those along RCA. mostly thai crowd with good live thai band.

or if you are really adventurous, you could stake out the shopping malls like emnporium, paragon, siam square during the afternoon. You may just get lucky by pretending to be a "newbie" in bkk...
I personally have tried the starbucks at lang suan ( same soi as tunnel), you find many uni gals there in sch U studying there.

For soapies, there are plenty in ratchada famous stretch. I shall not elaborate on this.

Bro Tony, have been to hanoi, HCMC and Danang and Hoi-an before.
Personally, never cheong in Vietnam before. Rather put off by the fact that we cant bring gals back to our hotel as i usually stay in 3 star and above accomodation. I can see that you are an expert in HCMC.

I will be planning a trip to Chengdu somewhere in Dec. Heard that it has nice scenery there and i am looking to find the fabled sichuan beauty during this trip there and look to visit E-mei mountain and JiuZaiGou.
