Hello. Anyone has experience with the PeduliLindungi App?
I have installed it, followed instructions Vaccine and Immunization / COVID-19 Vaccination / Vaccine Non-Indonesia, uploaded the certificates (with QR), but after many days the vaccination status checking is still YELLOW Waiting for Approval.
Is it a problem? Is the app with green approval a requirement?
Or I just bring my certificates on paper?
Anyone has done this?

Is an issue w the app. Mine couldnt work as well when i went last week. You can either:
1. Pretend to scan the QR code at the batam terminal and pray that the person dont check you (i did that and the guy didnt bother verifying at all)
2. Bring the hardcopy paper and show the person if he checks

Hardcopy is the best
Just show at immigration then can even cut the queue..as that happens for me

I fully agree that a printed copy is the best! No doubt I will travel with all essential documents and authorizations duly printed.

My concern is different: I understand that it is required (mandatory) having the PeduliLindungi app installed and with my profile registered with a QR code ready to show, but having the green light on the PeduliLindungi app?
I think it is not mandatory, as vaccination certificates on paper should be enough. However, if I get the app to work, better.

Before covid starts, i often bring such Husbands/BFs to Batam (together with their wives/GFs), for a relaxation getaway.

We all go to "clean" MPs & SPAs together.

The wives get their "beauty massage" + facial + pedicure + hair-do etc etc there while their husbands/bfs inside the same premises gets their happy endings. End of the trip, both husbands & wives were happy.

Now, i am still trying to locate back such places, which is why i said previously, i need to reboot myself in Batam in my next few trips. Part of my learning process.

No problem at all. My vaccination status in their apps is still at "waiting for approval" since i uploaded nearly 2-3 months ago.

Just bring along a copy of your photocopied vaccination cert on hand to show them when needed to if they asked (90% chance they won't even look at it).

They mainly check on your PeduliLindungi App to make sure you have scanned in. In fact , it is better to show them just before you walk by the VOA counter (there are tables set up there with people standing by to check if you have scanned the QR, & you need to just show them aka "flash it to them").

You will need to have mobile data in your phone to scan the QR code when inside the ferry (for Harbour Bay Ferry terminal). For the benefits of those who don't.

I faced a "problem" & expect other lesser experienced bros who may face it too.

You are really a wonderful resource for anyone travelling to Batam. I have no words to express my applause to you.
Indeed, WHO being a tourist non-Indo not regular to Batam may have data connection on the phone upon arrival?? The only solution would be expensive data roaming.

that app is useless, me pending status since Jun...as for that stupid white form, ferry ppl will give you to fill in..no need to fill...
you JUST need printout your vaccine status, I know soft copy also can..but troublesome to take out phone, open file, show custom ppl.

Just take out that big piece paper..they mainly bochap, see just 3-5 sec, then ok already

So far i went Batam twice since border opened. I just let those kiasu pax rushed out fm the ferry upon reaching Harbourbay. Then fm a distance i show my hp to the authority while they are busy checking the pax. I just bypass them. They didnt even stop me to check. However just have a hardcopy or softcopy in ur hp for vac status.

During my last few visit, the earlier visit I will need to scan the pedulilindungi app, but I do not have any data, so just showing them the error is enough.

Then later on just show my digital vacc cert, no need pedulilindungi.

The most recent trip I just walk past everyone, they dont even bother checking anything.

But to be safe, just bring your physcial vacc cert, or digital vacc cert.

As we all know that massage at the joint is not as comfortable as having your massage done at your own hotel room.

Just a question if anybody can advise.
If stay in batam city hotel,can the massage cewek from venew spa go over to the hotel room for massage? Any extra charge for going to hotel room?

Just beside not far away from batam city hotel, there is a small building with a joint call favorite massage & spa. Look like a clean joint. Can the massage cewek there go over to batam city hotel? Thanks in advance

No need roaming. Upon gettingout of the ferry, you can latch on Marriot Hotel wifi or HarbourBay has its own during my last trip mid Sept.

1st question, yes you can have the massage at your own room in batam city hotel. And I feel like like easier to nego for extras too.
As for charges I am not sure, never try.

2nd question, best way is to just ask the shop receptionist.

Ya beside negotiate for extra service, feel more relax in your own hotel room as environment more cosy and quiet.

Check the instalgram of venew spa and all photo of massage cewek can be seen, some even use tiktok to introduce themselves.

Nowadays facebook and instalgram are widely use by massage spa shop to recommend their ceweks. Whereas wechat mostly use for outcall services

But the price of the massage at venew spa is so much more expensive than the ex-king massage. 1 hour of massage can cost 400-500k (include VM) if not mistaken compare to king massage at 110k per hour nia.(exclude VM)

Hopefully, there will be more hotels which offers in house massage for convenience and also charge very reasonable rate like king massage and most important of all is to have a handful of pretty massage cewek with good massage skill.
