she needs to pay 2180S$ for it as she needs to give 24 months taxes with 90S$ per month although she is not working. It's stupid myanmar embassy's rule.

you just bring the approved letter from ICA together with her passport which is needed to show. They will ask you to come back and collect the letter after aweek and you need to pay S$2180S$ and her myanmarese passport when you collect the letter.

Went to Myanmar Embassy this morning to renounce my wife citizenship. KNN, the counter told me that i need to fill up a form and also need to photocopy all the page that have stamp on the passport and also the queue number of the day is full. She ask me to come again TOMORROW. NB. like that also can.

Need to go again tomorrow early in the morning around 6am to queue for the number again. KNN. Luckily this will be my LAST VISIT. Need to pay S$2160 to renounce her citizenship.

Thanks for your concern. My wife was let off the hook. No jail, and just pay $4000 fine. Thanks to the lawyer who did an Excellent Job.

Went back to ICA on same day to collect back her passport and almost every officer on the floor came in to see how she got away with it.
