need to produce passport only. i did it at the booth in the arrival hall at taoyuan airport.

anyway, guys, just be careful of those so-called meimeis who are freelancing and publicise their msn and photos on the net. Not trustworthy at all. I tried and actually spoke to this gal. She was supposed to come to my hotel.... to cut the story short, a 'gangster' then called me and wanted me to transfer the money to a bank account first. I just called the whole thing off and hung up on him. But he threatened me and wanted to intimidate me. wtf

well, if a deal seems too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

I was in KaoHsiung a year or so ago.....

It was quite easy to get a pre-paid card and connection.... Just head down to 7/11 or any of the 24hr shop, and tell them u need to apply for 1. They will give u a form to fill up, on the address part just put your hotel name and they will apply for you. i got my connection after 2 workin days.

Ya i also got mine at the airport. Very ez to apply n cost only NT$500, use passport n driving licence or NRIC. Juz give a bogus address, they dun check.

I also tried getting those msn meimeis. 100% fake, all scammers. Initally say no need to transfer $$, say meet up n see 1st then pay cash. After dat they will call back n say must transfer $ in case I no $ to pay up. Wat rubbish, told them to come to my hotel room at grand hyatt 君悅 n I'll pay 1st b4 doing anything. Then say I am police 條子 and then hang up.

Tried 2 at Taipei n 1 at Taichung. All the same pattern. Dun try!

KTV - ok abit blur on this one becos we pissed when I came out. Think it was at Song Shan Lu or something. Was a basement ktv. All the girls wear uniform (skimpy). The system is quite good. MP - this one i can remember Dunno the name but I can give you the location clearly. The MP is located in the building right next to Holiday Inn. When you walk out, turn right to the first buidling and go straight to 15th floor. Cannot find just ask hotel concierge (how I found this place). This is a 24 hour joint can sleep over if you want. A bit old but still very nice by Sg standards. Huge pools (hot/cold), sauna, steambath, rub back, facial, sleeping tatami, shoe polish, clothes cleaning...the works!! Basically you can drink until song at night then go there to stay the night and have an early morning bonk Charges are very reasonable. If no bonk just use facilities, then 600NT for 12 hours of use. Other servics just add on to this basic charge. If you go for special which the mamasan will definitely push you to do, it is 4200NT for 1 hour (basic charge waived). I got a 22yo SYT which nice B cups and silky fair skin (No.61 i think). AR/ Hot/Cold BJ, the same shit we get with our cat150 in GL. Service with a smile. No complaints at all.

Ok to sum up, TPE is really one of the top place to chiong. Service level for WL industry is same as their other industries..GOOD! Looking forward to go back soon again.

i had went to a ktv same as all u had mention but i dunno the location ...i only noe that the ktv call Xin Dian...if thats the one u been there, i must say that whoever wanna cheong ktv in taipei...u sure very happy wif this one...the meimei very very sui n hot!! no wheresle n sg ktv can hold a candle with dis one...all smell no smoke...a must go place for ktv cheongster

Brother Cook, pictures are not necessary for getting a sim card in Taiwan, i got mine, just need to bring your passport to register the sim card. The last time i got it at one of telco (Zhong Hua Tian Xing) in Taipei. registration is les than 10mins..

my own way of calculation for the damage in ktvs taipei, if u spend SD$1000 in sg, den its $1500-$1800 in taipei...but the standard of meimei is super far from any other ktvs in the asia region..chio chio chio! the minimum to bring a meimei back is about $500/bonk some more den that depend on the meimei standard lah,but i have to tell u that not u have money u can bonk de loh...its oso depends on the meimei like u anot, if not they even bother to go out wif u...lol

you guys are lucky. I got mine in Taichung and encounter lots of difficulty and finally got it from Zhong Hua Dian Xing as well, but they still request for two identification. Maybe just my luck lor...
