Any snr bros in HZ care to update on "wind" situation in HZ. Believe wil also b vy much affected by Yanda due to Uni Games in SZ. Wil arr on 1Aug, morning. Any good reliable contacts for SN or "gathering" wil b much appreciated.

Heard from frens in Hk now danshui is like dead town 樟木头镇 99% saunas n falang closed due to yanda....

Bro, u r correct, not only DS, HZ SN r all closed, same happen to 樟木头镇, CA; also understand that Qiaotau, Foshan etc r all badly affected this rd

wind is too strong

However, yr sept trip to HZ shd be gd timing then, the gals will be beri deprived by then

Finally had some time to do a Shoot & Propagate (S&P) rating for the cheong scene at Huizhou City and Danshui over the weekend. It was tough and had to get the survey done with the limited time.

DANSHUI
First stop was Danshui. Was absent from this economical Sauna paradise for 1 year plus.

Oh my things have changed so much since my first visit in 2009. Back then you can see the Sauna operators displaying their neon signages proudly on top of hotels and shopping malls. Unfortunately now the neon signages with the words 桑拿 (Sauna) are removed like it was the black plaque. I don't think the Shenzhen 2011 Summer Universiade Games has anything to do with it. More like changing times where the local officials have decided to make this trade less visible to the public eye. Saunas are still operating but in covert manner. The same goes for Huizhou City Saunas.

Everywhere in Danshui seems pretty quiet. Quite weird for a weekend. Not sure what happened but this is not the Danshui I used to know. The KTVs and clubs are still opened but I can tell it's not that lively. Danshen Club on Ti Yu Lu is out of business. Many clubs can be found on Nan Men Zhong Lu notably Jia Zhou Yang Guang Club.

Analysis: AA Rating downgraded to BB Rating

HUIZHOU CITY
Pretty much still the same except the new MRT line is in the works.

Changping is like AAA Rating. Huizhou City can never be AAA Rating because it's economy does not depend on the adult entertainment industry. Probably will upgrade to AA+ Rating once the new MRT line is completed.

Amused myself by taking a stroll along Xi Hu after a disappointing night over at Danshui. Very healthy huh?

Thanks for the update. Was looking for some info on Danshui in the other thread so as to confirm upcoming trip after a few years' hiatus.

Sad to see the rating dropped badly and DS changed. You are right that such big change if permanent must surely be direction from the top.

I was in Dansui in April. There is a sauna in the New Regent Hotel (Xin Li Chang). The room is good

Perhaps DS is not on the itinerary of cheongsters lately, since there is no response to my request for an update. There is only one way to find out, and so I decided to leave my village for DS, joining the crowd during the current National Day break.

And I have good news and bad news to report. Good news is everything back to normal – that is, just like it was before the last two rounds of YDs. I even saw a couple SNs with the loud ads that used to be common in the old days.

The bad news is the pricing seems to have gone up by RMB50-100 for the SNs. No wonder Premier Wen Jia Bao said he is concern about the inflation in China – it is also hitting the balls of cheongsters. With RMB going up against most currencies, it means double-wammy effects for us cheongsters. Even the JinDing Club now price its gals at 3-6-9, and it also has an “International Club” at a separate building that provides “VIP” service, offering “model-grade” gals at 5-10-15. Poor man like me cannot afford to check it out, but the 3-6-9 gals told me the so-called “model-grade” girls are only taller. Again, not all gals go out – you must still check with the mummy to avoid disappointment.

Hope the above helps other bros planning on a trip to DS soon.

This (sorry, in Chinese only) is reportedly related to the now closed Passion Club in Beijing, but it looks to me more from one of the SNs in DG or even DS. As far as I know, Passion Club only provides “high-quality” KTV gals and never SN services. Passion’s gals only look pretty and never a guarantee for SN-grade services.

What do you think?

Thanks for update, appreciate your effort to get first hand info.

Inflation is hitting worldwide and we cannot expect prices to stay same forever. DS if back to before is still a good playground although I think it will still take a while to resume it's glory days since booming with Nanhai projects if it ever will. Good to know SNs are back in business. Not a keen fan of KTV scene there.
