thanks for the feedback, i do know that we live once, although we would want someone from singapore but fate just dont put it that way.

i only truly believe that if the girl is true to you, she will quit and always ensure thru her actions, subconsiously, that she is trying to improve.

although such girls might always worry that you dont see them up, but i believe the guy must play a part too, provided the guy is true too.

my girl is now working back as a QA and is more stingy than i am now. trying to save every penny just so that i do not need to remit much. she knows that for every dollar i remit would cause stress for me too. she does admit that initially it was hard for her as spending power is no longer there, but she told me that as long as i am true to her and that i dont look down on her on both the past and education, she dont mind to have a simple life.

anyway, it is still works in progress and that it would only be middle of next year before i take the plunge. even then, me intend to have the flat only my name and that certain assets be kept secret until i am super sure.

in the meantime, we are just saving $$ and would still meet up every month for 1-2 weeks since my work takes me to SHA.

Hello Bro Axcel, going by what you say, sounds like you have a genuine thing going down here.
As other bros have pointed out, once they reach the "magic" age of 30 they tend to see reality. Money is still important but it becomes secondary.

it looks good and ur gal seems to be true. ur situation is just like a close friend of mine who got together with a WL, in fact they are going to get married later this year. although there have been quite a number of unhappy cases happening but i still believe some are true so maybe something might work out from this, wish u all the best.

would like to share 1 of my short term relationship with PRC WL to all.

first meeting was wen she was picked 2 accompany me 2 hv a drink with our group. dat nite we got along quite well (she is pretty, 4 me) n xchange contact no. from dat day onwards we met each other very often, but d outin was usually dutch most of d time. she was studyin in d morning while workin at d KTV at nite. i had bin workin 4 sum time liao. i did not feel much thing 4 her (onli know she is a very very nice gal, till then no bonkin watsoever) but we talked on alot of issues, ie standard of living, technologies, transportation, n many more things. somehow foreign gals r slightly better than locals. (i tink) she's got alot of structure ambitions goin on in her head, outspoken, self control (namely afew, in short, she got character [principle]) we grew closer 2 each other unknowingly. then suddenly the feeling of attachment (like wantin 2 know each others' whereabt, etc) grew abit out of hand (treatment like BF-GF) still blur blur that time (though i was late 20s wif experiences oredi, but it is wif a foreign gal, mah)

i was hit hardest wen she told mi, she was being offered 2 b bao n leave mi. (sometimes ignorance is really a bliss, wat u dunno wont kill u)

i admit i belong 2 open-minded type but got limit lah, all along she was truthful 2 mi lah (although we no bonk) i get 2 know/understand alot alot of things from her, such as, that actually China is a very very not-so-updated Country, later which i go China n c 4 myself.

not being able 2 c her pains my heart, she ask 4 my views at being "bao". she needs $$ but not much, otherwise she wont go dutch wif me lah. it was xactly moment i felt uneasy bein wif a WL, all sorts of negative thoughts will automatically rush up in2 our heads n confuse my logic thinking. that time really heart pain, man.

Well, i think maybe it was i was sincere to her in my approach. actually me always kept all my promises to her (not about$$) but things like visiting her family, and like her coming her to singapore or certain milestones in the past months that made her quit and to be back to the normal hard life.

i believe i was lucky that she had a good family and background and being old at 31 would think better. and that she has discharge her responsibilities to her parents and that its time she settle down, and funny to have met me.

i will update brothers, when there are new developments. Tommorrow going to ICA to apply for visa for her to come for a visit in September. so as to familiarise living in singapore to prepare for subsequent move to here.
