I have friends who rent rooms to ktv girls. Basically they just want to sleep and laze in the room whole day till work time. Sometime can be very arguesome.

My lower floor neighbour seems to rent out whole flat to tenants. Recently the unit added two more bedroom units in their already installed air-conditioning system. The tenants would leave their Aircon on for 24 hours. My bedroom floor can feel the coldness and condensation. The tenants only return after 10pm. Daytime go out to work. I suspect the real owner is not staying in his flat. The electricity bill must be huge.

If its rented out whole flat, the monthly electricity bill and any damage/maintenance done on the aircon is borne by the tenant not the owner
