Bro not cheap, you'll need at least $150k just for a simple mp of 5-6 rooms and if set up those 2 storeys one cost even more, about $250k.. I don't think now can earn much since too many competitions on going and the frequent AV raids.

Re: How much capital is needed to setup a SPA joint ?

Rental and licence is the main issue. Not just costly and very troublesome.

As what bro xxx said, you need to know what kind of setup you want first. $150k is possible if u need a big space w new renovation.

Re: How much capital is needed to setup a SPA joint ?

TS, getting a licence is the hardest part now. Know of a ML who has been waiting for approval for the last four months and still no response from the authorities and in the meantime, the rental is starting to kick in.

Best is to take over an existing one; you can, of course, recruit your own gals after that , etc.

Re: How much capital is needed to setup a SPA joint ?

I don't own any massage parlours or hair salons or nail spas. I notice that many owners of massage parlours pay a fall guy to be the licensee. I happened to meet a man outside a health centre in the outskirts. He was locking it up. This was after it was closed down. I asked him if he was reopening in future. He said he wasn't going to. I asked him how much he paid for the renovations last time. He said $100 000. He said it was his money down the drain.

I once receed and found another basement spa which appears to be clean. It just opened at that time. A man who appeared to be the owner was at the reception area. I asked him how much he paid for the renovations, furniture and licensing fees. He told me $1 000 000! In later years, his business didn't appear to be much but it's still open.

But is it just me or has all these HC been starting to pop out everywhere and alot is growing in the heartlands. As much as I love chionging with my friends, it scares me that they are so much closer to home. Scared later my son see me leaving from these HC.
