Real/Fake Corrupted Police (Worldwide)

I got a shock when I opened my door to go out to party last night. 2 supposedly plain clothes cops with detective badges and pistol barged into my Bangkok apartment. No they did not use excessive force or pull up their pistols.

To cut the story short for no rhyme or reason they want to see my identification and I fully cooperated. I asked them what's the problem and they want to search for illegal substances. After they're satisfied with the search they shook my hand and say thank you. WTF?!

The building management was not informed of any police search after I checked with them. Whether they are real or fake cops I wouldn't know and doesn't matter. This is the land of fakes anyway. But I highly suspect they're trying to find an excuse to extort money. So all bros make sure always bring your original proof of identification along with you. Setups are also not uncommon. Also those running businesses might get hit up with protection money from police all the time.

Maybe bros can share their experiences here. Would love to hear it. And always be careful and don't be too kwailan in a foreign land. Don't fuck around with illegal substances and items in your possession. It's not worth it. Last of all. FUCK THE BKK POLICE!

I don't think they trying to extort money from u. If they are, they'll be able to find 101 excuses to do that but in the end they didn't..... They could simply just "plant" something while u're not looking and say they found it somewhere in ur room.
I think its a case of trying to "scare" u.... somebody probably tipped them off about ur location....

They're some who're actually quite nice and friendly... jus show them respect and smile, and they're usually very friendly.... especially to us foreigners... i've been stopped by the police many times but was never being treated rudely before.... but of cos once a while i still give them "coffee money" if they caught me with traffic offenses....

Walau don't scare me leh. Who I've offended lately??? I think people offended me more like it. Not the other way round leh. Yeah maybe some drug lord find police and 'hung' (threaten) me. Last time in my apt, I sleeping and then someone knock on my door frantically. I woke up want to open door and scold the fucker liao then i look through doorhole saw 1 plain clothe and another policeman in uniform.

Got a shock, thought what happen, then I heard they knocking other doors too. Anyway, I think keh siao not in and just sleep went back to bed. But they damn persistent, keep knocking.

I lan lan open up, scared they ask management knock my door down. When I open door, first thing they ask me " Your house got any long hair girl staying boh?"

That night before I sleeping alone , so I said no girl stay here except me lor (i kohok him) Then I ask him what happen.

He say got 1 girl jump down don't know from which floor and suspect that the girl might have jumped from my corrider. (Mine is corner unit mah). The Officer even ask me go take a look.

Nabei, people jump down, the head split open, blood all over where got nice to see. Then he ask me I heard any noise boh. I said no leh and said I didn't hear any thud. As for the window, I think not jump from my corridor lah. The body landed on 3rd floor, I stay on 4th floor, jump down wouldn't die so easily lah. I heard she jump from 6th floor.

And then after a while, I went back to zzzzzzz.

Like that considered FR boh? Please up my points if you find my story interesting (This pattern I learn from others, and also 1st time I "ask for points" though I don't know so many points can do what.)

Did you ask for their search warrant ?
I suspect they might be fake and want to check out your house . Maybe in the next few days , they will get their bros to sneak into your house to steal from you since they have already recce your house layout.
